*Ariana's pov*
He pinned me to the door, his intense gaze burning into my skin. I refused to flinch, meeting his stare with a defiant glare. I washed my hands, dried them, and turned to leave, but his hand shot out, grasping my wrist and slamming me back against the door.
"Where do you think you're going, sweetheart?" he growled, his voice dripping with possessive intent. "You think you can just walk away from this?"
I was taken aback, unsure what he was talking about. That was until I felt the unmistakable hardness pressing against my thigh. My cheeks flushed, and my breath caught in my throat.
"You allowed that girl to..."
He cut me off, his lips inches from mine. "Do something about it, baby. Fix this."
His words sent a shiver down my spine. What did he want me to do? Surrender? Submit? My mind was a whirlwind of emotions as I tried to process the situation.
he abruptly stepped back, Without a word, he turned on his heel and walked out, leaving me stunned and disoriented.
I stood there, frozen, trying to process what had just happened. The sound of a knock on the door jolted me back to reality. "Are you okay in there?" Naomi's voice called out, concern etched in her tone. "You've been in the restroom for a while."
I quickly composed myself, smoothing out my clothes and hair. "Yeah, I'm fine," I replied, trying to sound nonchalant. "Just had a rough moment, that's all."
Naomi's smile was sympathetic when I emerged from the restroom. "Must've been a tough day, huh?" she said, falling into step beside me as we headed to our next class.
The rest of the school day dragged on, but eventually, it came to an end. I bid Naomi farewell, and she rushed off to meet her friends, who she'd been neglecting for a while.
As I made my way to the parking lot, Blaze's words echoed in my mind: "Meet me in the parking lot after school." I wondered what he wanted, but my thoughts were interrupted by Kryo, who appeared out of nowhere.
"Hey, I've been trying to catch up with you all day," he said, launching into a rapid-fire explanation of his busy day in class.
Kryo asked if I wanted a ride home since we were going in the same direction. I agreed, and as we walked to his car, I couldn't help but notice how nice it was.
"Hey, I never knew you have a car," I said, running my hand over the sleek dashboard.
Kryo grinned, "You never asked," he said, his voice low and smooth.
I laughed, feeling a little playful. "Guess I didn't know I had to."
As we drove, we discovered we had the same taste in music, and the car was soon filled with the sounds of Shawn Mendes. We sang along, our voices harmonizing, and I couldn't help but sneak glances at Kryo.
As the song ended, Kryo turned to me with a smile. "You have a great voice," he said, his eyes locking onto mine. "Have you ever thought about singing professionally?"
I blushed, feeling a flutter in my chest. "No, I just sing for fun," I said, trying to downplay it.
Kryo chuckled, his gaze lingering on mine. "Well, you should definitely consider it. You have a gift."
We pulled up to my place, and Kryo turned off the engine. "Thanks for the ride," I said, feeling a little awkward.
"No problem," he said, his eyes sparkling. "So, did you enjoy the ride?"
I smiled, feeling like he was asking more than just about the drive. "Yeah, I did. Thanks again."
Kryo's gaze held mine, and for a moment, I thought he might lean in. "Anytime," he said, his voice low. "Hey, about that party on Friday... I really hope you'll come."
I hesitated, feeling a little unsure. "I'll think about it," I said, trying to sound noncommittal.
Kryo grinned, like he knew I was interested. "I'll take that as a maybe," he said, his eyes sparkling. "I'll send you the details."
I laughed, feeling a little flirting was in order. "Okay, maybe I'll see you tomorrow ."
As I got out of the car, Kryo leaned over and called out, "Hey, don't make me wait too long, okay?"
I smiled, feeling a little flutter in my chest. "I won't," I said, waving goodbye.
I bid him goodnight.
I walked into the living room, and my mom looked up from the movie she was watching. "Hey, mom," I said, dropping a kiss on her cheek.
"Hey, baby," she replied, smiling at me. "How was your first day back at school?"
"It was fine, mom," I said, plopping down beside her on the couch. "I met a new friend, Naomi, and I joined the cheerleading team."
Mom's face lit up. "That's wonderful, sweetie! I'm so proud of you. Tell me more about Naomi."
I settled in, telling her all about Naomi and the vixens. Mom listened, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
"I'm glad you're making new friends," she said, giving me a hug. "Now, go freshen up and come eat. I made your favorite dinner."
I grinned, feeling grateful for my mom's support. "Okay, mom," I said, getting up to head to my room.
Here's the revised version:
As I walked upstairs, I couldn't help but think about what had happened in the restroom with Blaze. I could still feel the hardness pressing against my leg, and I felt a flutter in my chest. I tried to shake off the feeling, telling myself he was just not in his right mind. "Stop it, Ari, what's wrong with you?" I muttered to myself as I entered my room.
But as I turned to close the door, I froze. Blaze was sitting on my bed, looking like he owned the place. My breath caught in my throat as our eyes met, and I felt my heart skip a beat.
"What are you doing here and how did you get in here?" I demanded, trying to sound calm despite the chaos brewing inside me.
Blaze's gaze was intense, his eyes burning with a fire that made me feel like I was trapped. "I told you to meet me in the parking lot," he said, his voice low and husky. "But I decided to come to you instead."
I swallowed hard, my mind racing with possibilities. How did he even get into my room? "You need to leave," I said, trying to sound firm.
Blaze raised an eyebrow, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "Do I?" he asked, his voice dripping with arrogance.
I felt a shiver run down my spine as he stood up, his movements fluid and confident. "You're not going to get rid of me that easily, Ari," he said, his eyes locked on mine.
I took a step back, my heart pounding in my chest. What was he going to do?
