The Arrival of WuBie
Following Xiao Yan's guidance, the group made their way to the site where he had awoken a millennium ago. The memories of that day haunted him—the emptiness, the fear, the sense of betrayal.
"There you were, like a baby then," LuQi remarked softly, almost as if trying to soothe the gravity of the moment.
As they approached, they saw a figure bent down, searching for a plant with deliberate movements.
"Who are you?" Di'or demanded, stepping forward, her voice sharp with suspicion.
The figure did not answer immediately. Instead, he slowly rose, water swirling subtly around his feet.
"You must be the god of fire," the man finally spoke, his voice calm and precise. "I am the god of water… WuBie."
WuBie. The name struck like a hammer. Xiao Yan's mind raced, realizing the magnitude of this encounter.
"You're Ansha!" Di'or shouted suddenly, her anger flaring.
WuBie's eyes blazed, water gushing and swirling into a dragon-like form around him. "How dare you speak his name with such familiarity!" he roared.
Nem's eyes widened. "How can this be? You're one of the Ansha's associates… I thought I killed them all…" His thoughts churned, disbelief and fear battling within him.
WuBie lifted his arms, and the water dragon surged forward with terrifying speed. "Today, none of you shall leave alive!"
Xiao Yan reacted instantly, fire surging from his palms to counter the attack. Behind him, Nem, Di'or, and LuQi gathered wind and elemental forces to aid him, forming a shield of combined power.
"Divided we fall, united we stand! Begone!" Xiao Yan shouted, driving forward with all his strength. The water dissolved under the combined assault, but WuBie's eyes burned with fury.
"You're powerful, but none of you shall survive this!" he bellowed, rising into the air, water solidifying into jagged ice spikes.
