Chapter 165 - Chapter 165 — Premonition of the Secret Realm’s Opening

The main hall of Hun Yuan Palace.

Bai Yue's Earthling clone—towering nine hundred thousand kilometers tall—sat high upon the divine throne. His presence alone carried the weight of absolute authority.

Within the hall stood another figure.

A Golden-Horned Beast, vast as a mountain range, its metallic scales radiating cold brilliance. Twin eyes, deep as lakes, flickered with innate savagery and boundless killing intent. This was Bai Yue's Beast God clone, one that had already fully comprehended the Metal–Space fusion law.

"From this point onward," Bai Yue said calmly, his voice echoing through the hall, "I will personally take charge of the development of the G547 Secret Realm on behalf of the Human Race. During this period, this Earthling body will no longer oversee Hun Yuan Palace."

His gaze shifted slightly.

"My Golden-Horned Beast clone will assume full authority here. This is an official notice. You are to be fully aware."

"We understand and will obey with utmost diligence!"

Even the two Universe Exalts currently on duty had dispatched their divine power clones to attend, responding in unison.

Many felt an involuntary chill.

Bai Yue's Earthling clone was usually gentle, courteous, and restrained. While everyone treated him with the highest respect, fear was never dominant.

The Golden-Horned Beast, however, was different.

Its very presence exuded brutality and oppression. No one doubted that provoking it would invite immediate annihilation. After Bai Yue gave a slight wave of dismissal, all present withdrew promptly, gathering palace personnel and issuing strict warnings—there was to be absolutely no disorder during this period.

Leiting Island, Virtual Universe.

At the summit, amid endless streams of chaotic airflow.

"Teacher, you summoned me?"

"Come," the Primordial Chaos City Lord said, beckoning Bai Yue closer. He gestured toward a faint, shadowy figure beside him. "This is Shadow Monarch, head of intelligence for the Great Alliance. You should familiarize yourselves. The two of you will be coordinating frequently in the coming period."

Shadow Monarch—also known as Huan Ying—was no ordinary figure.

He was the supreme head of the Virtual Universe Corporation's intelligence system, concurrently serving as the overall intelligence chief of the Great Alliance. A true Universe Overlord.

This dual authority stemmed from the Virtual Universe itself. Its information transmission capabilities were unparalleled. Even other peak races were willing to pay staggering prices to plant spies and establish secret channels—despite knowing they would be exposed again and again.

Thus, in matters of intelligence, Shadow Monarch's authority rivaled that of many Palace Lords within the Great Alliance.

"Greetings, Lord of Hunyuan," Shadow Monarch said respectfully.

"I've long heard of your reputation," Bai Yue replied with a laugh, returning the courtesy.

Primordial Chaos City Lord nodded. "Very well. Let's begin. Shadow Monarch, give the report."

"Yes."

"According to intelligence from the G547 Secret Realm," Shadow Monarch said evenly, "the suppressive power sealing its entrance has begun to weaken. Based on current decay rates, it will fully dissipate in approximately two hundred years, matching earlier projections."

He paused briefly before continuing.

"However, several weak points are deteriorating faster than expected. In roughly one hundred and fifty years, Universe Lords should be able to pass safely. If they possess top-tier or higher palace treasures, forced entry may be possible even earlier."

"We cannot rule out alien races choosing to enter ahead of schedule."

"So soon?" Primordial Chaos City Lord frowned slightly. "What are the reactions of the other races?"

"The Insect Race, Monster Race, and Automaton Race have each dispatched a Universe Overlord for reconnaissance. The number of Universe Exalts gathering nearby is also increasing rapidly."

Shadow Monarch's tone remained calm, but the implications were clear.

"I estimate that once entry becomes barely tolerable for Universe Lords using top-tier palace treasures, alien Universe Lords will descend and force their way into the G547 Secret Realm."

Primordial Chaos City Lord turned to Bai Yue. "You've heard that. Be prepared. Our Universe Exalts must be ready to move at any time."

"I'm ready now," Bai Yue replied without hesitation. He then asked, "If one possesses a peak-tier or supreme palace treasure, can entry be achieved even earlier?"

"Yes," Shadow Monarch answered firmly. "However, due to insufficient data on the limits of such treasures, we cannot accurately estimate the time."

The Primordial Chaos City Lord nodded. "I'll notify the Universe Exalts immediately."

He then glanced at Bai Yue. "Before you go, shouldn't you deliver the Chaos Tablets to the Initial Universe? Ice Peak Master has been waiting for quite some time."

Bai Yue laughed. "So even Ice Peak Master has started urging you?"

His figure vanished from Leiting Island.

The delay had indeed been long.

Originally, Bai Yue intended to create the Chaos Tablets only after fully perfecting the Beast God Dao. Unknowingly, that had dragged on for eight hundred years.

It was time.

Normally, a Chaos Tablet recorded the single law path most mastered by its creator. But Bai Yue's true path—the Chaos Laws—was unsuitable for widespread cultivation.

The requirements were too extreme.

Time, resources, talent… even describing the odds as "one in a million" would be generous. Even Luo Feng, blessed with heaven-defying fortune, might fail if he had pursued it from the beginning.

After careful consideration, Bai Yue chose another path.

The Eight Great Beast God Daos.

They filled a critical gap in the Human Race's inheritance system and were far more universally applicable.

Above Primordial Chaos City in the Initial Universe, a colossal ancient vessel emerged from the endless Chaos and slowly came to a halt.

At the bow stood Bai Yue, gazing down at the vast city below.

The establishment of the Hun Yuan Palace Inheritance Land had not diminished the importance of Primordial Chaos City. Their audiences were fundamentally different.

Hun Yuan Palace served Champions and above.

Primordial Chaos City existed for geniuses—those below the Champion level, or those who earned special quotas.

During prior high-level discussions, the Human Race leadership had already reached a consensus. While inheritance could rapidly elevate comprehension, it could not replace independent exploration.

Geniuses had to learn how to struggle, analyze, and create on their own.

Blind inheritance would only produce stagnant powerhouses.

Thus, only those with sufficiently strong wills—such as Luo Feng and Hong—were selectively granted early access to the Inheritance Land.

This screening system was already mature across the five major Human factions.

Bai Yue disembarked and entered the corridor housing the Chaos Tablets. Ice Peak Master arrived shortly after.

"The Eight Beast God Daos correspond to eight Chaos Tablets," Bai Yue said. "That means reopening eight spaces. Master Uncle, are you ready?"

"I've been ready for a long time," Ice Peak Master replied dryly. "It's your tablet that arrived late."

Bai Yue smiled awkwardly. "The Inheritance Land delayed things."

At that moment, a kind-faced elderly man approached.

Bai Yue's eyes sharpened. "It seems our Human Race has gained another Universe Overlord."

The old man bowed respectfully. "Greetings, Ice Peak Master. Greetings, Lord of Hunyuan."

This was Candre—the true guardian of the Chaos Tablets.

"You broke through?" Ice Peak Master asked after a moment of observation.

"Yes," Candre replied. "Thanks to the free inheritance opportunity granted by Lord of Hunyuan. I comprehended the three major branches of the Time Law and created a Universe Overlord–level ultimate technique."

He bowed deeply to Bai Yue.

Bai Yue waved his hand. "Your foundation was already solid. The inheritance merely helped you organize it."

He spoke truthfully.

Candre was not unique. Many inheritors had experienced similar leaps—releasing accumulations built over endless years. Some even crossed major realms directly.

Zhen Yan King, long stuck at Champion Invincible, had taken the final step.

Bai Yue estimated that this wave alone would produce dozens of new Universe Exalts.

Placing the Chaos Tablets was simple.

Bai Yue positioned each tablet within its prepared chamber. Ice Peak Master then mobilized the Initial Universe's origin authority. Endless Chaos energy poured in, linking each tablet directly to the universe origin itself.

Eight times.

Eight Chaos Tablets.

The task was complete.

Bai Yue departed, reboarding the Feiyuan Divine Boat and heading toward the universe passage leading to the Primitive Mystical Region.

On the palace rooftop, he stood beside the Primordial Chaos City Lord, looking down at over a hundred gathered Human Universe Exalts.

"So few?" Bai Yue asked.

"That's already plenty," his teacher replied. "Information is scarce, risks unknown. More will come once the situation is clearer. The Great Alliance will also send their own group."

The Primordial Chaos City Lord then spoke solemnly.

"This is your first mission involving Universe Lords. Be cautious. The other peak races have long suppressed us. With the Human Race now in the spotlight, joint action against you is possible."

"If things turn bad, notify me and Great Axe immediately."

Bai Yue smiled faintly. "If they don't provoke me, all is well. If they do—then they'll regret it."

The Primordial Chaos City Lord laughed. "Good. The Human Race stands behind you."

"Then I'm departing."

"Go—and return safely."
