Chapter 166 - Chapter 166 — The Conspiracy of the Three Great Clans

"Greetings, Lord of Hunyuan!"

The moment Bai Yue appeared, every Human Race powerhouse present bowed respectfully.

Even though none of them had personally witnessed the newly advanced Lord of Hunyuan make a move, the existence of the Hun Yuan Palace Inheritance Land alone was enough to reveal the depth of his methods. Now, standing before them, the pressure radiating from Bai Yue's divine body felt even more terrifying—far surpassing many Universe Lords they had encountered before.

Reverence came naturally.

"Second Senior Brother. Ninth Senior Brother."

Bai Yue's gaze swept the crowd and paused on two familiar figures. "I didn't expect the two of you to participate in this secret realm exploration as well."

"Haha!" Gui Yi Venerable laughed loudly. His expression was kind, but his tone carried unmistakable dominance. "I've stayed in the Initial Universe for so long that I'm afraid my old friends in the Primordial Universe have already forgotten me. This time, I'll greet them properly—and maybe pick up a few useful treasures while I'm at it."

Long ago, after advancing to Universe Overlord, Gui Yi Venerable had returned to Primordial Chaos City Lord's side. For endless years, he assisted his teacher in handling affairs while receiving constant guidance, hoping to take that final step.

Unfortunately, that step was like a bottomless chasm.

In the Primordial Universe, the number of Universe Overlords was ten or even a hundred times that of Universe Lords. Yet the overwhelming majority were trapped at this level, unable to advance further. The difference between a Universe Overlord and a Universe Lord seemed like a single step—but in truth, it was the divide between heaven and earth.

Below the Universe Lord realm, all were ants.

The status of Universe Lords was such that any race possessing even one could be counted as a powerful race in the Primordial Universe.

After Primordial Chaos City Lord broke through, Gui Yi Venerable left the Initial Universe alongside him. In the blink of an eye, nearly a hundred years had passed. While he was still adapting to the Primordial Universe, Bai Yue completed the Inheritance Land. Gui Yi immediately scheduled an inheritance session.

The result was mixed.

His law comprehension did not improve as dramatically as expected, but his secret techniques underwent a massive leap.

Only after consulting Primordial Chaos City Lord did Gui Yi realize what he lacked—not insight, but refinement of the self. His spiritual realm had stagnated.

In his early years, his progress had been too fast. After reaching Universe Exalt, he spent most of his time handling administrative matters. His consciousness lacked the tempering that came only from true danger.

Thus, Primordial Chaos City Lord advised him to leave the safety of routine, to temper his will in fierce combat, to seek sublimation between life and death.

The opening of the G547 Secret Realm came at precisely the right time.

Golden Axe Venerable, by contrast, had a far simpler reason for coming.

After receiving inheritance, his strength had surged. His axe had grown restless.

"My axe has been thirsty for a long time," Golden Axe Venerable said with a ferocious grin.

Bai Yue nodded once, then asked, "Does anyone have a teleportation marker placed near the destination?"

The group exchanged glances.

Surprisingly, none did.

After brief discussion, they chose the location where an Undying soul slave under one of the Venerables had left a teleportation anchor. As internal members of the Virtual Universe Corporation—and under the watchful authority of Primordial Chaos City Lord—they could still perform God Kingdom teleportation within the Primitive Mystical Region.

The teleportation activated.

In an instant, space twisted, and the group vanished.

At the same time, Universe Exalts from the other three great clans and the Great Alliance—some in teams, others acting alone—were also rushing toward the same destination.

In the endless starry sky, more than seventeen billion light-years from the Primitive Mystical Region, lay a desolate star field.

No formed galaxies existed here.

Only fast-moving comets and shattered fragments drifted through the void.

Upon a comet several hundred kilometers in diameter, the light of God Kingdom teleportation faded. Bai Yue and his group appeared.

Ahead of them stretched pitch-black emptiness—no stars, no light, nothing but void.

Behind them, however, the starry sky blazed brilliantly. Countless stars connected into sprawling galactic structures, regions where endless life flourished.

"This is the territory of our Human Race's Yu Luo Universe Country," someone sighed. "The last time I came here was during the war to seize this land."

"I was only a Champion back then."

"Enough reminiscing," Bai Yue said calmly. "We're still hundreds of millions of light-years from the destination."

With a thought, he summoned the Feiyuan Divine Boat, expanding it to a size of several hundred thousand kilometers. He boarded first.

Once everyone was aboard, the Feiyuan Divine Boat accelerated violently, bursting through the asteroid belt and vanishing into the Dark Universe.

Three months later, the ship slowed and returned to the Original Universe, continuing forward at sub-light speed.

Far ahead, within the dark void, a region several hundred thousand light-years wide emitted terrifying fluctuations.

Even from hundreds of light-years away, the power radiating from that area felt capable of destroying heaven and earth.

"The profundity of the Primordial Universe's creations truly has no limit," a Universe Exalt murmured.

As they drew closer, everyone felt increasingly insignificant.

The membrane separating the G547 Secret Realm from the Primordial Universe looked thin—yet the power it contained was enough to make even Universe Lords tremble.

The energy leaking from it spawned spatial vortices and lightning storms in the surrounding universe. An ordinary Universe Exalt, lacking treasure defense, would be annihilated instantly.

Viewed from afar, ignoring the devastation, it looked like a window torn open in a pitch-black room, brilliant light pouring out.

"Senior Brother," Bai Yue said to Gui Yi Venerable, "contact Venerable Nanzhu. Tell him to move closer."

Venerable Nanzhu was an ancient Human Race Universe Overlord who had been monitoring the G547 Secret Realm from the start.

Soon, space fluctuated beside the Feiyuan Divine Boat.

A team of more than ten Universe Exalts appeared, led by Venerable Nanzhu himself. He wore jade armor, his demeanor refined and noble, like a gentle scholar.

"Greetings, Lord of Hunyuan," the group said in unison.

"Any unusual changes recently?" Bai Yue asked.

"No abnormal incidents," Nanzhu replied, "but spatial fluctuations have grown more frequent. It feels as though a large number of powerful beings are gathering nearby."

Bai Yue nodded.

The G547 Secret Realm lay at the border of the Human Race, Monster Race, and Insect Race territories. By long-standing agreement among the four great factions, such secret realms were jointly developed. Other races were excluded entirely.

These secret realms rarely produced supreme treasures. Even peak treasures were scarce. As such, Universe's Strongest rarely intervened. Exploration was usually led by newly advanced Universe Lords.

From Nanzhu's report and his own perception, Bai Yue quickly grasped the situation.

The barrier was still extremely strong and protected by the Primordial Universe's will. Even if a Universe's Strongest arrived now, they would be unable to break it—and might even be trapped by suppression, unable to leave until the power weakened.

Acting too early could provoke the Primordial Universe's resistance.

Only when its will fully receded could treasures be used to test entry.

The barrier itself was not perfectly smooth. Like skin, it had folds and weak points. As it thinned, these regions would connect to the Primordial Universe earlier than others.

Venerable Nanzhu's group had already identified more than ten thousand such potential weak points.

Bai Yue's task was to personally re-examine them, select the earliest viable entrance, and choose the timing.

In secret realms, everything followed one rule—

first come, first served.

With a decision made, Bai Yue guided the Feiyuan Divine Boat closer, beginning a bold inspection of the barrier.

Terrifying lightning and spatial vortices crashed against the ship, yet the Feiyuan Divine Boat remained unmoved.

Gui Yi Venerable and the others finally relaxed, gazing at Bai Yue with awe.

In the following days, powerhouses of the other three great clans noticed something alarming.

An ancient ship treasure was shuttling freely through the most dangerous regions of the barrier, inspecting one weak point after another.

More than a hundred thousand light-years away, a massive stone tower hovered in the void.

This was the Monster Race's gathering point.

Within it, a Venerable-level Ink-Quill Beast reported to Lord Meng Wan of the Nine Meng Beast lineage, presenting detailed intelligence and imagery of the Feiyuan Divine Boat.

"The Human Race is truly extravagant," Lord Meng Wan muttered. "They equipped a newly advanced Universe Lord with a peak palace treasure."

After dismissing the report, he immediately contacted his superior.

In a distant Small Universe, Demon Ancestor Zhen listened in silence.

After a long pause, he spoke.

"I understand. I will handle the matter of that Human."

His will crossed endless distance, reaching another Small Universe.

"If this were elsewhere, even with a peak palace treasure, killing him would be difficult," Demon Ancestor Zhen said coldly. "But he is probing the secret realm barrier. Push him into it—and even peak treasures will shatter."

"I'll notify Old Machine and urge Beiqiu Prison Master to act immediately," Dream Demon Ancestor replied.

The Insect Race and Automaton Race reached the same conclusion.

Soon, the wills of the three peak clans descended upon the desolate star field.

"Let Beiqiu Prison Master act," Dream Demon Ancestor declared. "Use the barrier to kill Bai Yue."

"Even if he has clones," the Zerg Queen said softly, "at least make him lose one—and his treasures."

"Agreed," the Automaton First Ancestor intoned. "The price has already been paid."

"If we don't eliminate him early," the Zerg Queen added, her voice gentle yet lethal, "he may become another Primordial Chaos."

Consensus was reached.

The conspirators withdrew.

The star field returned to silence—

unaware that a storm was about to break.
