[3rd POV]
With the confirmation that Billie could take Haley on the trip to Paris, Billie had promptly confirmed the trip with some of the necessary parties. She had made sure that the hotel room that she had wanted was booked and ready to go for them.
She had also made sure that the private jet that would take them there was ready. It was a lot more expensive to book, but was still worth it. It was also a lot nicer than the other one that they had been on just a bit earlier. A whole lot bigger too, but that was necessary due to the length of the flight from California to Paris.
The dinner date was set, as was everything else that she had planned for the week in Paris. She had spent tens of thousands of dollars on having it all set up, and that was just the beginning. She had rented out entire spaces for their time in Paris, and was going to spend a lot more on her wife.
She had even planned on visiting a few of the very famous LVMH locations in the city, like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hermes, and a few other fashion brands that she knew Haley had always wanted to go to.
Her girlfriend was still VERY into fashion and fashion design. And she had expressed her interest in delving into the area several times now. She wanted to develop her own clothes line once she got big enough, and she wanted to learn more about it.
In "Canon" she was shockingly good at fashion design, and in this universe it seemed that she had just as much talent. So all she would need to do to get good, was to train and learn under someone skilled in the area. Which Billie was sure she could help her with. There was a lot of ways she can get a proper fashion designer to teach her girlfriend.
The only major downside was the fact that it would cost a shit ton of money, as fashion designers tended to be...very very arrogant, and super uptight. They didn't like to work with others, and thought themselves as better than others.
That was the case for most of them at least. There was a number of people that Billie knew of that would be able to help her, and wouldn't cost her insane amounts of money to hire to teach. There were also a number of others that didn't have the arrogance that would become a pain in the ass for Haley to learn from.
Either way, Billie planned on eventually helping her find someone to learn from, a professional that could make her a giant in the industry. Or at least make her good enough to make a bit of a name for herself in the area.
She would be big in music and in fashion, unlike Billie who was strictly in the music area. Although Billie was planning on doing some other forms of music, like piano, guitar, and had even come up with a few ideas for a few musicals.
Musicals would be a fun side piece that she had wanted to do. She already had a few on her mind that she remembered from her past life. The very top of that list was Dear Evan Hansen, a musical that she was pretty fond of from her past life. And the other was Hamilton, which was FAR larger, and was the second largest musical...period.
The largest was Wicked. But that one did exist already, she knew that because Mitch and Cam adore the musical and had talked about the several times that they had been to see it. And the fact that they want to see it in a bigger theater. Like in New York.
On top of Paris, Billie had also prepared plans for other places in France to visit, like Lyon, Nice, Bordeaux, and Nantes. They were just backup plans created for if Haley ever wanted to visit somewhere else besides just the main city of Paris.
Personally Billie didn't particularly care too much either way. She would enjoy it either way but she wanted it ready in case Haley didn't like Paris as much as she thought she would. Billie knew that Paris was kind of a shit hole in...well, 95% of the city.
But she hoped that Haley would like it as much as she seemed to hope to enjoy it.
At the moment Billie is in her home, humming some Christmas music as she was on a small ladder, putting up Christmas lights alongside the upper parts of the wall. She already had a large, beautiful Christmas tree up. One that she had put up alongside Haley a couple of days before.
The tree was truly massive, and had a beautiful star at the tippy top of it, placed by Haley herself. The room also had a few other beautiful decorations that really made it pop.
[Something sort of like this, but even bigger]
The room was pretty much finished already, with the kitchen being the next part that she wished to decorate with some other little decorations. But she planned on waiting until Haley got there to do that, the girl was pretty insistent on helping decorate.
She was a lot better at aesthetics than Billie was, like...way better. Haley was pretty open about the fact that Billie was not the best at decor. Hence why the current state of her living room was born from the help and suggestions of Haley herself.
While humming her Christmas tune, Billie climbed back down her ladder as she finished putting up her lights. A sigh escaped her lips as she looked it over.
"...Haley will probably think of like ten different ways to make it look better, but...it's good enough for me" Billie said to herself, a small smile on her face as she pushed the latter back in, and placed it against the wall flat.
She didn't need it anymore. At least, not right now.
As she looked the room over, making sure everything was in place and humming a Christmas song as she did so, she blinked as she came to a realization.
Briskly walking over to her laptop, she opened it, and waited for it to load. As she realized that with it being the Christmas season, there was the perfect song to make. A song that she had yet to hear in this new life of hers, and was now trying to see if it existed in this world or not.
And as she began to type away at google, a small smile formed on her face, as she saw that the song that she wished to create was not a thing in this world. It was - from her own knowledge - the largest Christmas song in the world, and far and wide the most well known.
It would also make her a lot of money every year. And since her own popularity was superior to the one that had originally created it, Billie was confident that it was going to make her even more money than it did in the past life for it's original creator.
Although the song...might turn out annoying after some time.
With a smile on her face, Billie moved to make her way into the recording room, ready to make her new song, one that she was confident would be a smash hit.
Walking away towards her recording room, Billie had one thought on her mind.
'Time to make an iconic Christmas song!'
