[3rd POV]
"Glad you all liked it" Billie spoke out to the crowd, as she rose from her seat behind the piano, a smile on her face.
She got cheers in response.
"So, was anyone surprised? I mean, I was pretty quiet about this little show I planned" Billie asked, as she heard a lot of "Yes" or "Me" in response.
"Good! I didn't want it to get spoiled and ruined. I guess I'll have to thank your principle for that again, after all, she's the one that put this together for all of you. Maybe a thank you from all of you is in order?" Billie suggested, as Helen was promptly given loud thank you's from the crowd.
Billie noticed that the loudest one came from Jade, which was quite funny. She was usually the quiet and reserved one. Snarky and unapologetic. But in this case, she was a grade A fangirl of Billie's.
So much so that she had one of the few signed pieces of merchandise that Billie had made, which was a t-shirt. Jade had gotten it for a pretty penny, which she had thankfully saved up for it, so it wasn't a problem to buy.
The price of the item itself was pretty damn high, but that was the case for most of Billie's merchandise. At least, the signed ones. She did her best to make her merch relatively affordable, at least enough that a large majority of her fans would be capable of buying it without too much difficulty.
She wasn't about to charge two hundred dollars for a sweatshirt or something insane. No, she made it so they were usually ranging from 40 dollars to like 100 dollars, mattering on the item. The prices were still high in Billie's eyes, but still cheaper than most others.
At least, she believed so.
She'd have to double check in the future.
There were some other evident fangirls and fanboys, but none were as loud as Jade, and none of them were as noticeable. The girl was a main character in the show, afterall.
Seeing as all the students gave Helen a thank you, Billie focused back on what was important.
"Yep, she's pretty awesome. I mean, what other principle can you think of that does something like this?" Billie asked, as she heard nothing in response. A chuckle leaving her.
"Exactly"
"Now, I hope all of you realize why she had asked none of you to reveal this little...show on social media, at least, not until after the school day is over. Paparazzi can be a major pain in the butt, and they can also go...too far sometimes" Billie explained, deciding to get this part out of the way, as it was very important that they all understood it.
"If you do reveal the fact that I did this concert, I probably won't come back. Not because I don't want to, because I have enjoyed this quite a bit. But because it simply wouldn't be safe. Afterall, if one of you revealed that I am here, leaking it to the press, what's to say you won't do it again in the future?" Billie said as the students listened.
"I understand that it's exciting that I am here, but please, wait until the school day is over to post about this. The press can go really really far for a "Scoop" and that includes things like trespassing, stalking, and yes, even breaking into this school just for the chance to get a photo of me, or talk to me" Billie explained to them all, as she thankfully saw many of them putting their phones away.
She also saw Jade in the distance, looking like she was not so subtly threatening anyone around her that still had their phones out.
Billie wasn't sure if she should thank the girl or not.
She would have to decide in the future.
"Plus, I don't think you'd want to ruin this would you? After all, it's not everyday you get a special concert AND the chance to get a lecture from a world renowned artist" Billie said, as she noticed the talking getting louder.
The news that she would do a class was super exciting.
"And yes, to all those worrying, IF you all keep this quiet, I am more than willing to come back to do some more classes in the future" Billie added, as she heard sounds of excitement echo throughout the large room.
Jade threatened a lot more people upon hearing this. And even Tori seemed to be giving a few people death glares.
Looks like the girl REALLY wanted to learn from a true, professional, HUGE artist. Probably because it was a once in a lifetime opportunity, and something she had never done before. Oh sure, she had met with a few other artists before, but no one even remotely on the same scale as Billie.
Most of the artists she had met were a bit...well, washed up. No offense to any of them of course, but they were just...not really in the same playing field as Billie. Some of them had been in the past, but not in today's day and age.
Even Cat looked to be telling people to stop recording and put their phones away. It would seem even she wanted to learn from Billie, or at least have the chance to.
"I've already got a class I'm planning on teaching after this, so to those special few, I will see you very soon! And to all the others, don't worry! I'll hopefully be coming back in the future, so I should get at least one class with everyone. Well, everyone in the music department at least" Billie said, as she looked over the group, hearing cheers from the music kids in specific.
Which were a lot of the kids in the room. As most of the people that attended the school, were there for music or theater, which involved musicals and singing. The latter was something that Billie planned on doing something in eventually.
She figured "The Greatest Show" deserved to be made here, just for the "This is Me" song alone. It was one of her favorite songs of all time, afterall.
"Now that you all know this, I really really hope you'll listen and keep quiet for now. But now it's time for you all to head back to class, and one lucky group of you, will be seeing me again very soon" Billie said with a smile on her face, as the bell rang and she heard grumbles from the students.
But with the looks Helen was giving them, and the other teachers moving to get them out of there, the students soon began to head out of the room, and towards their next classes.
Billie watched them go, a smile on her face, as she was very pleased with the way that went. And the kids actually seemed to be listening, at least, to an extent. And hopefully, that would be enough for her to not have to deal with paparazzi anytime today.
She really really hoped so at least.
For now, she decided to head off the stage, and towards the class that Helen had told her about.
The class of Victorious.
And as she headed out of the room, Billie had only one thought on her mind.
'Let's hope this goes well'
