[3rd POV]
Walking through the halls of the school, Billie began to heard towards the class she was going to teach. Haley at her side as they walked. Most of the students were already back in class now, since the teachers had basically corralled them all into their classes.
But the few that were still walking about, gawked at the sight of Haley there as well. As everyone knew that HD and Billie were close friends with one another, and had been making music together for quite some time. But the fact that the two were close enough that they were doing stuff like this, meant quite a bit.
It also confirmed the thoughts of a few of the students, that Billie and HD may be together in some form. But, none of them dared to utter a word about it, mostly because a lot of the students (thankfully) were good people, and understood that Billie and HD deserved their privacy.
That and the two were way too cute together to potentially ruin over something monumentally stupid. Plus, the students had a feeling that if they did go out of their way to leak this information to the public, they would not return.
And none of them wanted that. Not when they could get a class taught by a true professional that had shown that a younger person nearly their age, can be successful.
'Seems the students here are even smarter than I expected' Billie thought, a little surprised to see that none of the students had their phones out, and almost all of them were doing their best to ignore them. Probably to be respectful to their privacy, and to not bug them too much.
Of course, that was not the case with all of them.
"U-Um...pardon me, c-could I get an autograph?" A stutter echoed as Billie turned. A small smile forming at the sight of a girl who looked to be a freshmen, looking very embarrassed to do this, and also nervous.
She had a small poster of her in her hands, and a marker in her other.
"Sure" Billie replied, as she moved forward and took the marker form her hand and signed the poster with no complaint.
She had absolutely nothing against fans asking for signatures and pictures, so long as it did not get in the way of her freetime, or did not bug her too much. She did not want to deal with them while eating or out on a date with Haley, but doing it in a setting like this was just fine.
She was honestly surprised that more people didn't ask.
"Thank you!" The girl said cheerfully as she ran off with a bright smile on her face, her new signed poster in hand.
"Huh...I wish all of our fans were that nice" Haley said at her side, a little happy to see that the girl didn't bug Billie about anything.
"Me too, Hales, me too" Billie replied.
Upon seeing that she signed the poster, several other students came up, just as respectfully as the first had, and all of them gave her their thanks afterwards. That was the same for Haley, who signed a few posters of her own.
Thankfully it had only taken a couple of minutes, so it wasn't a problem as they headed to their class, and eventually stopped in front of it.
It was the acting and improv class, taught by a man named Erwin Sikowitz.
He was a...unique man, very very unique.
But he was a good man, who taught the students he had well. And those students were the main characters of the show.
She chose his class because she knew he would be just as excited to hear her teaching, as his students would be. And he would be more than okay with letting her teach the class, "interrupting" him and his teachings.
He was rambunctious, unique, and had a special way of teaching. Which included a lot of random elements that sort of just popped up. It was an improv class, afterall.
He was probably one of the best teachers in the entire school. Even if he was...odd.
With a deep breath, Billie opened the door, as she spoke out "So, who's ready to learn some lessons from a professional?"
Hearing the voice, the students turned, as a few of them gasped. Jade was the loudest, and was basically vibrating in her seat upon seeing that she had chosen their class.
"Ah, Miss Eilish! You picked my class to teach?" Erwin asked, looking surprised. His class wasn't really all that related to music, at least, not the same as the literal classes for music. They were more focused on musicals and theatre. Music was a part of it, sure, but this was more acting than anything.
He wondered if Billie perhaps had some sort of experience in the field, or knew something about his students. He supposed it could be Tori and her friends that are the reason of this, since they are somewhat well known online thanks to some of their performances.
"I did Mr Sikowitz, is that okay?" Billie asked, as the man waved if off.
"It's fine, I'm actually curious to hear what you're going to teach! And please, just call me Erwin, only my students need to call me Mr Sikowitz, and you are not a student of mine" The man replied, a cheerful smile on his face.
"Well, considering most of your students here are in fact, musicians of some sort, I was planning on giving them a few "Tools of the Trade" as you would call it. Things like how to build connections to proper recording studios, how to write songs that don't sound awful, stuff like that. And for those that aren't in music...well, I'm sure my lessons can apply to them as well" Billie replied to the man, her confident smile still on her face.
She knew that at least some of her words would help the others that weren't interested in music.
"What do you mean by tools of the trade?" Cat asked, tilting her head as Billie looked at her before walking forwards, Erwin giving her a nod as he walked to the side and sat.
"Well, Miss..." "Cat" "Cat, I mean that I want to teach those of you that wish to pursue a musical career, how to successfully do so. And tools of the trade is one of the absolute most important things. They are some of the most vital, "have to have" equipment, techniques, and knowledge you can ever have" Billie explained to the girl, as she continued.
"Now, the thing about music, and becoming a proper musician, is that there is a LOT of separate "Tools" you need, mattering on which area of music you are going to. Do you want to be a pianist? A guitarist? Cello? Then you need entirely different tools compared to something like a singer"
"But, all areas have overlap in some forms. Techniques needed, like, branding" Billie said, as she noticed several people bring out their notebooks, and her smile widened, realizing that this was going to be a lot more fun than she hoped for.
Seeing this, Billie began once more.
"Now, lets get into why branding is so important, shall we?"
Billie inwardly decided that she was absolutely doing this again.
Because she just started, and it was already...
Fun.
