I smile as Nicolas watches his father walk back and forth, laughing under his breath, I feel my instincts flow up into my throat causing my fangs to almost pop out, it's been about a year since this last happened, when I watched kai drink a bottle of shampoo.
My fangs break when Nicolas' father turns suddenly.
"I see my son, you have found a vampire…That's why you were confident with your choice."

I wait until Nicolas is lying face first on the throne and Hamish the highland cow sits on the floor beside the throne. I walk up slowly and I scoop Nicolas into my arms, gods Caidee and Kayleigh will kill me, fun…not.
