After everythinng was prepared Alicia went to see the house prepared. She found everything to her needs. She saw everything and noticed a single flaw. The windows were weak. Although they were hard glass but she still ordered an extra layer of steel shutters that could be opened by pressing a button. She also decided on the furniture. The renovating company promised it to be done in three days.
After this she went to the warehouse. Will was checking the final shipment of goods. After checking everything she told him to start the car. After he left she put everything in the space. While they were passing she found a familiar face outside of a nearby cold storage.
She told Will to stop the car and came near. She found the voice familiar as well. It was Allister. He was talking to a tall man emitting strong alpha pheromones. She looked at them and followed them in. She found that the cold storage was full of instant food. She looked at Allister who was checking the stock threw the pen away. He pulled his hair and mumbled something. Alicia only made out few words and got the just of it.
She heard "How.....this..... not enough...10 years.....need to order more..."
She understood what he was doing there but there was a question in her head. She asked slowly looking at him "If what I am thinking is right then why did you marry me?"
Then she heard something else and this time it was clear.
"It's for three people and that too for 10 more years. we need more... " Allister said to the other man.
The other man asked "Are you sure she'll believe you and come with you? "
Allister looked at him seriously and smiled "We're already married where will she run off to"
The other man smiled and replied "Well well who told her to marry you. Alicia Miller has no way out. "
After this they turned back and started again.She saw them working together and felt it was too close. She looked for a while. She was angry at his behaviour. When she couldn't see anymore she stood up and quietly left. After going out she got in the car. She directly went home.
She called him and surprisingly he picked up today.
"Where are you ? "
Allister tried to call it off as usual saying "Why at the company of course.... "
Alicia sighed and asked "When are you coming back? "
Allister was a bit surprised and asked "Why are missing me? "
Alicia smiled and asked "Should I pick you up? "
"No need. Rick will drop me off. I'm busy right now and don't worry I'll be back tonight. " He haung up the phone unknowingly creating a storm.
Alicia frowned at this. She looked at the disconnected call and said "Rick will drop me off. Who's this Rick? Was it the guy he was talking to?"
She sat there and thinking, unknowingly drowning herself in jealousy. She took a paper from the bedside and tore it up in anger.She sat there waiting and even forgot to turn up the light.
Allister oblivious to everything returned near 1 am. He tiredly opened the door and went to the bed.Suddenly he heard a voice "Is this the time to come back? ". Allister jumped in reflex and looked towards the source.
Alicia looked at him through the darkness. Her golden eyes shining in the darkness as if a tiger waiting for it's prey to fall into the trap.
