After they entered the house Alicia made everyone sit in the living room. They chose the rooms. She and Will checked everything when suddenly she realised something while looking at the snow. She needed wine as very cold temperatures were common in the future. She asked the others and decided to go out alone the next day.
The next day as she was about to leave Luke offered to go with her. Allister looked at him and asked "So are you going there? Will you come back? "
Luke looked at him sadly and then said "You know I can't leave him there right. "
Alicia looked at them and asked "What is this about? "
"Nothing let's go now. I have to be somewhere now. " Luke replied and went to sit in the car.
Alicia looked at him and then back at Allister's face worried for him. She stood in front of him.
"So what's the issue? "
Allister hesitated at first and then spoke.
"He likes a married omega, Shawn. He wants to save him but that person..... he simply lacks the courage to come out. "
Alicia looked towards the car and went out. She got inside the car and asked "What's his address?"
Luke gave the address and looked outside. They drove off. The car drove on through the white world. The trees were frozen with the leaves. The weather didn't give them any chance to shead.
The place was a run down apartment. After the car stopped Luke smiling said "Okay beauty see yeah" and left. Alicia looked at his back leaving. After he entered the room she came out and followed. When she entered the room the place was completely destroyed. Thing were left broken here and there. She walked in and found the living room in a similar state. Luke stood there frozen unable to move. At the centre of all chaos there laid a body in a disheveled state. It didn't move. A little blood slowly seeped from under his hair. Her eyes widened.
She went forward and turned the body. She checked his breathing and sighed in relief. She stood up and kicked Luke.
"He's still alive pick him up. Hurry take him to the hospital."
Luke moved at this and hurriedly picked him up. They hurriedly entered the car and took him to the nearest hospital. After the check up the doctor looked at them suspiciously.
"How are you related to him?"
Luke didn't know what to say and hesitated. Alicia spoke up on his behalf "I'm his sister."
"What kind of sister are you that you don't even know he is being abused. He has black spots in multiple places. He was luckily saved this time."
Alicia bowed down and said "I'm sorry I failed as a sister."
Luke looked at her strangely. The doctor nodded and told them everything. He told them that he needed to stay in the hospital for a week for observation. When they reached the ward Shawn had already woken up.
Alicia sat in front of him and took his hand in hers. She smiled at him.
"So how are you? "
He looked at her blankly and asked "Why did you save me? I could have died. "
He shout in anger "Why? Don't I even have the freedom to choose death? "
Alicia looked at him "So why do you wanna die? "
He looked at her and widened his eyes. He said sadly "Don't you dare show your cheap sympathy here. What's there to look forward to in such a life? I have nowhere else to go. Isn't it better to die? I can't take this anymore. I can't listen to those voices anymore."
He broke down and started to cry. Alicia looked at him and said "You have ways. "
He looked at her directly and smiled sarcastically.
"Do you think I didn't? I did but all of them left me."
Luke came forward from behind.
"I won't. I won't leave you. Can you just give me a chance. Please" He fell on his knees with determination in his eyes. He looked back at him and started to cry. Alicia signaled Luke who seeing this went ahead and hugged him. Shawn broke down in tears while Luke comforted him. Seeing them like Alicia left them there.
She went to the nearby stores to buy wine. After buying she had to stop at a intersection. Suddenly her eyes went to an alley. There a woman stood alone. No eye saw her. She move strangely a bit mechanichally. Her irises were burning red. Light emitted from them occasionally. The exposed part of her skin showed a mixture of white and light blue. Her eyes widened she hurriedly turned her car towards the hospital. She rushed the car as fast as she could.
