Whatever the reason was, Lewis knew he could never stay angry at Draen for long.
Even after discovering that he was pregnant and learning that Draen had hidden it from him, the anger in his heart never lasted as long as he wanted it to. Draen's kindness made it difficult to hold on to the resentment. No matter how upset Lewis became, he always found himself softening whenever Draen sincerely apologized or showed how much he cared for him.
That was how they eventually reconciled.
Draen admitted that he had been wrong to keep the pregnancy from him while Lewis finally let out everything he had been keeping inside. There were tears, apologies and gentle words of reassurance between them.
By the time they finished talking, the anger that had kept them apart had almost completely disappeared.
