Everyone in the inn listened to Maribel's speech. They became shocked about how Maribel talked about nobility and royalty.
Zain said nothing as Maribel said all those things, he didn't try to deny them or speak about them.
May tried to stop Maribel from speak. She told her to calm down as she saw that Maribel was crying as she said all those things.
Maribel calmed down but tears didn't stop. Zain understood why she was crying, why she said all those things and why she looks like she's suffering. He understood why but he couldn't put himself in her shoes.
She was born in this world.
She experienced the cruelty of it.
She suffered against it.
While Zain view this world as nothing more than a fantasy world.
He doesn't understand the cruelty of this world.
He hasn't seen death even though he experienced it.
Seeing death and experience death are two different things. The one that dies are at peace and the one that watch them die suffer.
Even if they die by disease, suicide/homicide, or by nature death. Some can die in cruel way and some in a peaceful but they all felt they're death before they die.
Zain hasn't felt a lot of things in this world.
That's why he can't be able to say anything, let alone comfort her but he can tell her the truth.
Maribel stopped crying and Zain looked at her.
"Are you finished?" Zain said to Maribel.
"..." Maribel looked down but looked at him again.
"Yes you're right. All nobles are the same."
Everyone was surprised by what Zain said.
"All nobles including the king and emperors are all the same. I'm speaking about nobles."
The entire inn was silence and listening to Zain.
"There are worse nobles who enjoy to torture others and make others suffers but that's just them embracing they're personality. Even commoners can make others suffer or protect others."
"The one thing nobles have in common is that they can break the rules and get away with it."
"An emperor can slaughter an entire civilization but would never get punished. A king can kill an entire kingdom but would never get punished. A noble can kill all commoners but would never get punished."
"People seems to forget that those noble are just people. What is a noble without nobility, what is a king without a Kingdom and what is an emperor without an Empire?"
"Nothing. A noble without nobility is a commoner, a king without a Kingdom is a commoner and an emperor without an Empire is also a commoner."
"Nothing in this world is absolute but there's one thing that's absolute."
"DEATH! ALL THINGS MUST COME TO AN END. THE KINGDOM MUST FALL, THE EMPIRE MUST VANISH AND THE WORLD MUST PERISH."
Zain said as he stood up and looked at everyone.
"I'm not a slave, commoner, noble, king or an emperor. I'm not a even a God. I am ME and that's all I can be." He said in low tone but everyone heard him. He left the in after he said that.

Rhaelis woke up from her room fully healed. It looks like she was able to heal fine with aura.
A person with good control of aura can circulate aura inside their body to speed up the healing process. Since Rhaelis is a beastfolk and they heal faster.
She went downstairs but stopped when she heard Maribel talking angrily. She saw that Maribel was talking to Zain and talking about nobility. She decided to listen like everyone else.
She heard how Maribel wished the princess died, all royalty to die and how she wanted the king to die.
She watched Zain as he did nothing but listen to her. May managed to calm Maribel down but it looks like Zain was going to say something.
Zain said nothing to comfort her, probably everyone thought he was gonna comfort her but Zain didn't. He just spoke about nobles.
He spoke about everything but nothing. He didn't say anything to Maribel except admitting that nobles are all the same.
Rhaelis thought, 'He's not wrong though. Remove everything and everyone is a commoner.'
She watched as Zain leave the inn. Rhaelis decided to come down the stairs and headed straight to Maribel.
"Are you okay?" Rhaelis said to Maribel as she sat at the table infront of Maribel. Maribel nodded and sat down. May stood besides her.
"You haven't told me you name miss?" May said to Maribel.
"I'm Maribel." She said as she looked down. She decided to look at Rhaelis and said "Why me?"
"Why what?" Rhaelis said as she looked at Maribel.
"Why did he pick me? Why did you he pick someone else? Maybe someone younger, someone who wants to live?" Maribel said as she tries to plead for answers to Rhaelis.
"I can't answer that but shouldn't you know that."
"I don't know what he wants."
"From what I learnt about Lucian is that he is simple."
"He's simple? What do you mean?"
"Lucian is someone who wants to live a simple life. He said that himself but I didn't believe and still do believe. Do you know that Lucian grew up on a forest that has no animals or beast?"
"No forest without animals or beast? Does a forest like that exist?"
"I don't know. Lucian feels like an orphan. He feels like he grew up alone." Rhaelis said as she looked at Maribel.
"He did say he doesn't have any siblings. His parent give him books and left him alone." May said as she remembered her conversation with him.
"He grew up alone?" Maribel said as he looked at them.
"I can tell you one thing, Lucian is a good person which is neither good or bad." Rhaelis said.
"What makes you think that?" Maribel asked her
"I'm still alive." Rhaelis said as she remembered her battle with Zain.
"Wait, you're telling me Lucas attacked you?" May said in shock since she didn't know how Rhaelis got hurt.
"Because I tried to kill him."
"Miss Rhaelis, aren't an S-Rank adventurer?" May asked Rhaelis.
"I am but Lucian is also an S-Rank adventurer and I'm weaker than him."
"WHAT!" May said in shock.
Rhaelis looked at Maribel and said, "So, Lucian doesn't have anyone to call family. I don't know why he picked you to be his maid but I feel like he's going to be a good master for you."
"Why do you think that?" Maribel said as she looked at Rhaelis and May wanted to hear the answer too.
"Because he didn't stop or hit you when you were shouting at him. He just listened without doing anything. He waited for you to finish talking and he didn't try to say nice things to you. If that doesn't make him a good master for you, then I don't know what can make him a good master for you or he was just pretending like you said." Rhaelis said as she began to the food Zain left.
Maribel tried to think about what Rhaelis said.
