Chapter 87 - Who Is To Blame Human Or Devils

World Zero

A place filled with flowers and trees. Beauty everywhere. The sun never stops shining. A world where night never comes.

Oz walks through the forest. He reaches a beach, turns his head, and freezes. He sees Bliss, Lisou, Hitomi, and Yuma laughing, eating together. Yesterday they were enemies. Today they're smiling like old friends.

Oz approaches slowly.

Yuma gives him a warm smile. "Welcome."

Oz stammers. "What… Bliss, what is this? How did we get here? Is this a dream? Tell me."

Bliss grins. "No, man. Relax. I was like you at first—shocked. But this place… it's calmer. Peaceful. This is where our souls go after we die."

Oz's breath catches. "Wait… we're all dead? No… wait… what?"

Hitomi steps in. "Dude, chill. Here you live forever, peacefully. No violence. No endless cycle. The other world is full of it. Here your soul hits zero. Zero pain. Zero anything. This is the Zero Point."

Yuma hands him food. "Sit. Eat."

Oz sits quietly in his chair, watching the waves roll in. He grabs the chicken and takes a bite.

He bursts out laughing. "This is… damn delicious! Hahaha! I've never tasted anything like this!"

For the first time in years, nothing hurts. "I lost you… but I found you here," he says to Bliss.

Bliss leans back in his chair, eyes on the sky. "All that chaos… it wasn't a fairy tale. It was a story. And the story ends here."

"Bliss… what do we do now? Who won that fight back then? Who's stronger?"

Bliss looks at him and smiles. "Neither. We both won. Those were good times… but here? We'll have better ones. Happier ones."

They all burst into laughter. Oz asks:

"In this world… what doesn't exist?"

Hitomi replies, "No night. No time. You live forever."

Oz whispers, almost trembling: "Forever…? Forever… huh. Then… it's worth it."

He looks up at the sky. A tiny, tiny star flickers.

"If that star… ever finds peace…"

The view pulls away from the ZERO WORLD. We see it floating inside a massive Ring of Peace, suspended in space. A ring with no end, in an infinite universe.

450 trillion light‑years away lies a galaxy: the Milky Way.

It all began in a world of fire, where the newly born Earth was nothing but lava and hell. In this molten chaos, the first creatures—the dragons—were born. This was the starting era. Inside that galaxy is a small planet, filled with pain and joy, betrayal and memories, and beautiful and ugly moments. A planet that holds every emotion. A planet that has never known peace for 4.54 billion years. Millions of years later, around 800 million years ago, Earth began forming into a different world. The continents changed, and new life began in the ocean. Thus started the Era Restart of Creatures.

The dragons vanished. New life appeared. 245 million years later, dinosaurs emerged. A world of violence and survival. But everything ends. The dinosaurs fell. Nature created two new beings that would reshape the planet: Humans and devils. Alongside them, Zero World and Dark Hell were born, fueled by nature's energy.

The Blood Engine began turning. For 300,000 years, the cycle of blood has never stopped. Devils kill devils. Humans kill humans. Devils kill humans. Humans kill devils.

So… who is to blame? Humans? Or the devils? Oz whispers all this while staring at the tiny star.

Lisou says, "This is our life. Full of pain, full of joy, full of emotions. Everyone lived… but in different ways."

Inside that tiny star, there is life. Planets. But that star… is the Laniakea Supercluster.

Inside it lie the superclusters and galaxy clusters. Then comes the Local Group, where our galaxy—the Milky Way—belongs.

Deeper inside is the Solar System, the one that lights our Earth. And at the end, inside the solar system, is Earth.

Earth holds oceans, forests, islands, continents, and thousands of other things. But beneath Earth… lies DARK HELL.

A world reborn. Evil humans and humans who did not die peacefully end up there, blinded by revenge.

There begins the torture. A world full of hell, screams, and cries.

Those who scream are two kinds: humans and devils.

Humans there… their only "job" is to scream, die, and be reborn again in the flames. But devils… return to life, back to Earth.

There, a single gender—women—gives birth to humans. They grow up and eventually stand before battles with devils.

In the end, everyone has a fate. But violence, joy, and betrayal never stop.

Just as Earth passes through many stages, the Machine of Violence is a mechanism filled with cycles: the cycle of joy, the cycle of love, and many others.

Everything a human has lived… exists inside those cycles. Everything feels like a universe.

Earth—Tokyo

The Ocean Devil stares at the two corpses—Oz and Bliss. He says nothing. After killing them, he simply returns to the water.

We see him traveling through the depths. Fish everywhere. Creatures that never rise to the surface. Massive beings whose fate is to remain deep below—not by choice, but to keep the planet balanced.

This is the Ocean Devil's purpose. A devil who, thousands of years ago, was human. He loved the sea. And in the end, fate turned him into the Ocean Devil.

There are not only humans and devils. There are creatures in the abyss. If they ever rise… they will break the planet's balance.

The Ocean Devil enters a cavern. He sits on a stone, calm. He closes his eyes to sleep.

Then, from the darkness, a massive serpent‑like body slides past him.

— NARRATOR —

Life on Earth was pain and joy—everything a human or devil can feel. But there is another life, deep in the ocean.

Creatures that have lived for millions of years, since the oceans first formed—500 million years ago.

This world has always been filled with things no mind can imagine. Things that surpass imagination. The Creator forged beings no one could ever conceive.

Row dragged the bodies of Oz and Bliss out of the blood‑soaked dirt, his hands trembling, his breath breaking in his throat. "Vane… damn it… you were right," he muttered. "That day you said everyone dies, and nature answers the questions we're too scared to ask…"

He wiped his face, leaving a smear of dirt across his cheek. "I never knew if we deserved to live. But today… I saw it. We do. We really do."

He looked at Oz's lifeless face, then Bliss's—both still, both gone. "Their deaths weren't random. It was a warning. Death doesn't knock. It just shows up."

Row clenched his fists until his nails dug into his skin. "I swear I'll do everything I can. I'll protect whoever's left. I failed today. I was late. Too damn late."

A tear slid down his chin. "But tomorrow… I won't be late. Not again."

He stared at the bodies, his voice cracking. "They had no chance against that devil. We don't even know why he came out of the water… why he chose them."

Sukizei saw Row and ran toward him, tears streaming. "No… no… how did this happen? How did they die? Take me instead, not them!"

Row whispered, "Let it happen."

"What are you saying? Why would you say that? They didn't do anything! They were family!" Sukizei shouted and punched Row in the face, knocking him down—not hard, but out of absolute grief.

Row wiped the blood from his mouth. "Wherever they are now… they're happy. They don't feel the pain we feel."

"Don't say that!" Sukizei screamed. "They're not gone yet! We have to save them!"

"We can't," Row said. "It's over. This was their fate. No matter what we do… it's over. We're at our limit, Sukizei. You know it. Tokyo is destroyed. Chaos everywhere. Everything is falling apart, and we can't stop it. Everyone goes right… and we go right. In this world, everyone follows one path."

"Stop talking like that!" Sukizei yelled and punched him again, sending Row back to the ground.

Sukizei collapsed beside him, grabbing Oz's cheeks. "These two… they were the light of our family. They were the radio that killed the pain and brought peace. And now they're gone… how? How?" He slammed his hands into the ground until blood dripped from his palms.

On another side of Tokyo, Reino lay on the rooftop floor, Lisou's body beside him, Yuma on his left. Silence drowned the area. They watched the chaos—flames swallowing the city, destruction everywhere, and slaughter in every street.

"What do we do now…?" Yuma whispered. "Tokyo is gone. It's not the bright city full of energy anymore. Our city, SINISH… it's completely destroyed. There's no hope. We're all lost. Even the moon is crying with what it sees in us."

Reino gave a sad smile. "The moon is lucky it doesn't have us. It would've been destroyed in minutes."

"Stop it…" Yuma muttered. "The Americans are up there. I can see their flag from here. They've taken the moon."

Reino let out a calm, tired laugh. "Why did we end up here? We should've changed. Friends became enemies. Enemies became friends. If the world is written like this… then why does a friend have to become an enemy later? Why not from the start? And why can't an enemy be a friend from the beginning?"

They both looked at Lisou's broken body. She was gone.

"Our fight… is over," Reino whispered.
