Chapter 94 - EXISTENCE OF HOLE

"You challenged me to a fight to the death, something no one has ever managed since the day you were born. Let's finish this," Akos says, raising his hands. Sakoura roars, "It would have been more merciful if he had killed you back when I was inside your body."

Akos claps his hands together. Sakoura's body slams flat against the ground, crushed under gravity exceeding 100G. The pressure drives his head down into the dirt as his organs rupture inside him, one after another.

Organs spill from Sakoura's mouth. His cells begin to burn from the inside. He can't see anything anymore. "It took so long to wait for you," he manages. "I'll be dead in twenty minutes. His bones shatter, one by one.

A second clap echoes through the air. GOLD AURORA 200%. A massive wave tears across the area, devouring everything in its path and warping the environment into shifting colors: pink, yellow, blue, red, white, and black.

"What the hell is this?" Sakoura says. "I can't believe it, no. It can't be. He's activated his UNIVERSE." The entire environment twists into something resembling deep space, scattered with stars. The energy saturating the air grows so dense that even a bottle of water bursts like a volcano erupting. It feels like standing inside a parallel universe that breathes on its own. Everything cold, everything lifeless. Stone, metal, frozen bodies. In one sudden motion, Sakoura vanishes from the area.

The area has already been leveled by countless explosions. This time, even the sky and the ground have shifted color entirely. Akos regenerates the half of his body that was destroyed earlier, glances to his right, and in a sudden burst, Sakoura hurls a car straight at him.

"Let me guess," Sakoura says. "You changed the form of your technique, ZAMKA. Fused it with blood and will, to push it to 200%." He spits blood, having burned through twenty percent of his energy from Akos's attack. His arm is already gone, destroyed.

Akos said, "Looks like you've figured it out. There's nothing left to hide anymore. I've already laid every card I have on the table. Just like you used the Portal Mind technique to teleport yourself away fast so you wouldn't be destroyed... striking your heart three times to transfer somewhere else."

"That's right, that's right, Akos. I wanted to tell you, I was the one who created you," Sakoura said.

Akos said, "What...?"

Sakoura said, "Fifteen hundred years ago, I asked Yugo how a user with infinite eyes could ever be born. He told me certain conditions had to be met in this world, like bloodlines like Tasaku, Fachiro, and Tori. Certain conditions had to be fulfilled for those techniques to be born into children. I did the same thing, but I didn't know what those conditions actually were. So I slaughtered everything in front of me; I killed every sorcerer I could find, for two whole eras, the twelfth and the thirteenth. In the end, I understood what the conditions were: there had to be traitors, there had to be a massive rise in deaths, a surge in demons, a threat to humanity, and slaughter. All of it happened. And the result... was you."

Akos freezes. His eyes go wide, unable to process what he just heard. "You're insane," he says. "You absolute son of a bitch."

Akos's fist clenches. "I promise you, I'm going to kill you," he says. "And then I'm going to kill them, one by one, every last piece of that filthy Sorcerer system and that filthy Yugo too."

Sakoura throws his head back and laughs. "You can't."

"I can," Akos answers.

"You can't. You can't. You're going to die right here," Sakoura says. "I know all your techniques. I was inside your body for over ten days. I saw your memories; I saw everything. I saw your first death, at the hands of Sebastian, the man who slaughtered all of you. I saw him kill the one Mikaro loved, and that was what turned Mikaro into your first enemy. "He laughs. "I watched him drive that sword straight into your mind. But you, you shifted the location of your ability, moving it into your eyes instead. I know everything."

Sakoura says, "You're someone with no meaning, no purpose, lost out in the middle of nowhere. You rush. You run. You throw yourself into battle, you win, you throw yourself into another, you win again, the same cycle, over and over. You try to break the cycle of violence, but you're the one who's trapped inside it. You have no peace. You have no purpose. You were simply born to die by my hand."

"Well then, if I have no meaning, I guess it doesn't matter if I destroy all of Tokyo and kill everyone in it," Akos says.

He raises both hands in a gesture, activating the two spheres of energy, RAGE and Death. Sakoura freezes, stunned, then lunges to stop him, snarling, "That bastard trying to unleash ABSOLUTE GALAXY ULTIMATE again," but Akos teleports straight up into the sky before he can land it.

RAGE and Death fuse together, forming a single blue sphere.

Sakoura can't move. He lost his leg, and it's regenerating too slowly.

"He destroyed my leg," Sakoura says. "If he hits me with another death technique, I'm done."

Akos unleashes Oblivion and Memory, merging them together, and Emotion is born. He moves both hands, drawing Emotion and Memory toward each other to complete the fusion.

"There's no hope left," Sakoura says. "Whatever happens, I'm doing it. It's time to activate UNIVERSE ZONE."

But suddenly, an unknown figure leaps impossibly high into the air and fires a fast slash at Akos, severing his arm and canceling the fusion of Emotion and Memory mid-formation.

Akos falls back instantly, and Sakoura stops his own attempt to activate UNIVERSE ZONE.

At the same moment, Emotion and Memory lose all control, crashing randomly onto the ground and triggering a small explosion.

Sakoura hisses, "Who dares to interrupt our fight? That piece of shit." Akos stares at the newcomer. "What the hell? Who is this guy?"

The stranger says, "Oyoyo, apologies for crashing your little fight. But I have a score to settle with you. DEVIL END."

Sakoura looks him over. "And who are you supposed to be? Let me guess, some nobody who doesn't even remember his own mother." He pauses, eyeing the weapon in the stranger's hand. "Wait. That looks familiar. Yeah, I remember now. That's the Battle Axe texture. Wait... Amiko? Didn't I kill you a hundred and fifty years ago?"

Amiko laughs, unhinged. "That bastard Yugo brought me back to life. Just so I could come kill you."

Akos cuts in, his voice dripping with irony. "Alright, alright, step aside. Let me finish my own fight first. Then do whatever you want with the corpse." He glances at Amiko. "And yeah, I don't think you're walking out of here alive either, seeing as you just ruined my strategy."

Amiko says, "A hundred and fifty years ago, you slaughtered every last Sorcerer and made an alliance with that damned ZADE bloodline to wipe them all out. I will never forget that. The ZADE bloodline threw over a hundred sorcerers into a pit, calling it training. In the end, you showed up and butchered them yourself. After I finish you off, I'm going after the entire ZADE society next."

Sakoura bursts out laughing. "You filthy dog. You actually think you survived that massacre because of luck? In the end, you walked straight into a fight with me. I'll give you that; you really are strong. But I never even used ten percent of my power to kill you. You were nothing to me." He turns his gaze elsewhere. "So Yugo sent you here to kill both of us. What kind of creature is that? He made an alliance with me once, and in the end, he betrayed me too. It's just something natural to him, some instinct he's carried for five thousand years, always chasing after the Flower, the Creator of the Living, trying to control the entire planet."

Amiko raises the Axe Texture. "I'm going to destroy you this time. I've upgraded this weapon. It's a mythic class now. I love this thing because with every hit, the enemy's texture builds up inside their mind, flooding them with too much detail to process. The brain can't keep up. Their FPS drops, straight down to zero, until the whole body falls apart." He wraps his arms in energy.

Sakoura coats his hands in energy, forcing his leg to finish regenerating.

Akos regenerates his arm fast and answers, "I don't know who you are, but cutting off my arm is going to cost you." He ignites energy across both hands, and all three of them stand ready, poised for the next attack.

Amiko says, "I'm going to execute all of you. Then I'm going after the user of Limitless Infusion."

Akos's hands freeze mid-air, the energy around them flickering out. "What..."

Sakoura's mouth falls open, the words catching somewhere in his throat. "Eh...?" Akos says, "How do you know the original name of my ability?"
