Chapter 95 - TRIO CRAZY

Amiko says, "What do you mean? I know because I served as the assistant to the head of the Tasaku bloodline."

Sakoura answers, "Are you stupid, or do you have a virus in your brain? The guy standing in front of you is the user of Infinite Eyes."

Amiko goes silent, his face frozen in shock.

Amiko says, "I can, I can... I don't know what to tell you, I'm just shocked. I love it, I love fighting strong opponents. I served the Tasaku bloodline, just waiting for the day I'd get to fight the user of Limitless Infusion. My luck, I really do have luck, just like Maya said."

"Looks like you've got some nerve, Sakoura," Akos says. "You don't like a fair fight? One on one, one on one, huh? Are you scared of losing? You told me I have no meaning, no purpose. Well, my purpose is to kill you."

Sakoura smiles. "You brought this on yourself."

All three of them activate Resonance Pulse at once, and the entire area floods with energy.

Amiko dashes behind Sakoura, aiming to take his head off, but Sakoura catches him by the legs and hurls him meters back. Akos seizes the opening in Sakoura's blind spot and drives RUSH CALLS straight into him, locking down his energy. Sakoura fights to break free but fails, slamming back into a wall. "What, you think you've got the whole society watching?" he snarls.

Akos gives him no room to recover, firing RAGE straight at him. But before it even leaves the tip of his finger, Amiko exploits Akos's own blind spot, his back left exposed, and drives the weapon straight through it from behind.

Amiko shoves him toward a store. Akos's body tears straight through it, destroying the whole place on impact.

Amiko turns to look at Sakoura and roars, "Your father is coming to kill you," lunging at him. Sakoura yanks a car door off its hinges and slams it into Amiko's head, stunning him just long enough that his vision blanks for a second. Sakoura circles behind him, grabs him by the throat, and starts choking him. Amiko fights to break free from Sakoura's grip, sinking his teeth in, tearing skin off his arm.

Both of them stumble back, and that's when they see Akos, sitting on top of a truck, eating potato chips like nothing happened. He watches them with mild interest. "Yummy. Haven't had this good stuff in ages. Forgot how good it was." He takes a bite of a plain cheese toast. "Why are you both staring at me like that? Don't tell me you're starving. Oh, sorry, my mistake. I forgot the other one over there eats people, not human food."

Amiko looks at him, smiling. "So you have some kind of unknown ability. That hit of mine should have done something. It's like it just passed through air. If someone actually understood spatial mechanics, they could've torn you apart with it."

Akos, swinging his legs like a kid, doesn't even glance at him. "Amiko, hate people who act all high and mighty, telling everyone they're the strongest one here."

He looks Amiko over. "You hate arrogant people, but you're the one standing here saying you're going to beat me, that you're the strongest. That's called being a hypocrite."

Amiko's jaw tightens. "Watch your tongue, or I'll cut it out of your mouth. You need to respect your elders."

Akos shrugs. "Fine, old man. Go on then, back to the mountains you live on."

"What a pair of idiots I've gotten myself stuck with," Sakoura says. "I've never been in such a boring fight before. I'm bored out of my mind. I just want to eat both of you," Akos answers him.

"With salt or without salt? If you're going to eat me, at least throw in some onion. It's tastier that way."

Amiko is crying from laughter. "Oh my God, what am I even hearing right now?"

Akos looks over at Amiko. "And what are you laughing at? Your head looks like an orange." He turns back. "And why did Yugo even send you here? How did you come back from death to life? This cannibal killed you a hundred and fifty years ago; how did you come back to life? Looks like you're going to make a nice little package for Khaki to run experiments on. He's like a kid who loves curiosity but keeps getting beaten for the chaos he causes, because his character's just weak like that."

"You keep chasing after peace, but you don't even know what peace means," Sakoura says. "Akos, you were born for battle. You'll die in battle. And I'm the same. I was only ever born for battle. I don't care about peace; I don't care about calm. Those quiet, good moments—they're nothing but a quick snack. We have the same mind, you and me."

"Alright, you two, seriously, stop talking so dark; you're making me feel like I'm stuck in some clown theater," Amiko says. "You know what, once I kill both of you, I'm getting a technique straight from Yugo himself." He lunges fast at Sakoura.

But Sakoura dodges, grabs him by the hair, and whispers, "Tell Yugo if he wants me dead, he can come do it himself." He yanks the hair clean out of its roots and slams him down onto the ground by it.

Akos bursts out laughing. "Bahahaha, look at that, you're actually going to be better looking now. Should we get your pretty new bald head a toilet plunger

Sakoura lunges at Akos and fires a kick straight at the truck, sending it flying back. Akos climbs up onto a building, but Sakoura hurls the truck straight after him.

He leaps into the building and charges Akos with a flurry of fast punches, but Akos weaves his head side to side, dodging each one. He catches his right arm, twists it, breaking it, and grabs him by the throat. It snaps, but Sakoura flips it back into place in a fraction of a second.

"Bahahaha, Sakoura, I'm not the man you think you know," Akos says.

Sakoura answers him fast, "And I'm not evil because I was born evil. I became a monster because I got tired of being human."

They trade rapid punches, Akos dodging every strike and countering with his own, but Sakoura moves fast through the building, smashing through a wall and bursting out the other side of the room. He grabs him by the throat and drags him down the hallway, but Akos snatches a flower pot and slams it into his head, breaking free.

Sakoura sends punches at him, but Akos ducks his head, catches him from the side, and slams him down onto the floor. He drives his skull straight into Sakoura's, but Sakoura grabs him by the throat and throws him back down. Both of them hit the floor, each fighting to lock the other by the throat. Akos wraps his legs around his neck, while Sakoura grabs at his throat with both hands.

Amiko climbs up onto the building and charges at both of them while they're still on the ground, but Sakoura shoves Akos into his path, and the weapon comes down aimed straight for Akos. He twists his body fast, dodges, and catches the other one by the arms.

Sakoura fires off the Finger Pistol Technique, a burst of flame launching out, blasting all three of them clear out of the building as it explodes into ruin behind them.

Akos looks over at Amiko. "Ohh, your hair grew back. I wanted to snap a picture of you, bahahaha."

Amiko fires off five slashes with his axe, but Akos dodges each one, calm as ever.

He looks between Amiko and Sakoura. "You two waited for me to even be born. One of you for fourteen years, the other a hundred and fifty, and the last one, two thousand, twenty-five hundred, I don't even remember anymore. So I'll kill you both then." He tilts his head. "Which one of the three of us is really the lost one?"

Sakoura pulls his hand back slightly, forming a flame between his fingers, and whispers, "I won't say it again. This fight, for me, is just a bridge to my real goal. Twenty-four hundred and eighty years ago, I came to Japan, back in the Jomon era. The only thing I ever wanted was to fight the strongest ones out there. Here in 2014, you are my real target, my bridge toward the destruction I want to bring about." The flame in his hands grows larger, hovering between the two of them.

At the same moment, Amiko has charged his entire body with energy, flooding the whole area, preparing a lethal strike. He whispers, "Everything is born from Chaos."

Akos raises both hands. One toward Amiko, a black sphere forming in his palm. The other toward Sakoura, a red sphere blooming to life. He says, "I am the special one."
