Chapter 11 - Chapter 46 - A New Beginning for Tia

Olivia was reluctant, but she obeyed Ella as she also wanted to watch what would happen to Tia.

"Okay..."

Although she was dissatisfied, she also didn't want to interfere much, as she had no deep relationship with the girl.

This was her first time seeing her, and the reason she was going through such lengths to save Tia was that she thought their circumstances were the same—but not as worse as Tia's, because they hadn't lost much.

They had second parents taking care of them, while Tia wasn't.

Hence, she was eager to take her because she felt that they understood each other, which would lead to a deep connection someday.

With that decision, the twins continued to observe as Tia was taken by the soldiers treating her wounds and then carried her out of the village.

The rest of the soldiers and the faction who investigated the slaughter remained there, wanting to uncover who was the culprit of the onslaught.

While Tia continue her journey, after half a day of riding in the carriage with constant ambushes by monsters, they finally arrived at the town called Rendon Town, which had a population of hundreds of thousands of people.

There were a lot of people there, with a lively atmosphere, not even affected by the commotion caused by the village.

Ella and Olivia had arrived at this place in an instant, and their impression of it was not good.

As they observed the officials and the people there, they didn't seem to care much about the slaughter in the village, which angered them as they observed.

They criticized the people there until Tia reached Rendon Town, which instantly made their gazes shift to the girl.

"Eri, are you sure that girl will survive here?"

Olivia suddenly questioned, feeling worried for Tia.

However, Ella was indifferent. Her expression was calm as she said, "Let's wait, let's see if that was the case."

Hearing her calm composure, Olivia nodded and continued to observe.

Days passed. Tia, right now, was constantly wandering the streets, unable to see her surroundings, which attracted the attention of the people and vendors.

However, many ignored her, and the only ones who helped her could be counted on one hand.

Her physique was withering, she was quite thin, holding a flute tightly and leaning against the side of the road beside the wall of a house.

Various people passed by her, but they ignored her, which instantly angered the twins.

The reason Tia had been ignored was that she was suspected to have slaughtered the villagers, the blame put on her, which led to her being neglected and beaten by the passerby folk.

Seeing this scene almost made Ella and Olivia explode in anger. They were now eager to descend but couldn't do so.

So, they had no choice but to watch the girl suffering, feeling quite guilty and powerless for the first time.

"Eri, I can't take it anymore... I choose her. I'll take care of her, huhuhu..."

Olivia said while listening to Tia's sad music from the flute, which moved her heart, causing her obsession to grow.

She wanted to take care of her.

Ella, hearing it, nodded as she had already called out the system to choose Tia.

"System, we will choose this girl."

DING!

[You have chosen to summon Tia Portia. She will be teleported to the Divine Space within seconds, and the twin hosts' consciousness will return in response.]

After making those decisions, Ella and Olivia's projections ended as their vision immediately shifted to their real bodies.

Meanwhile, Tia, who had heard Olivia's voice earlier, responded with a shaky voice.

"Who's there...?"

But before she could react, her vision shifted unexpectedly, dragging her whole being into a strange state.

Her body disappeared without a trace while no one noticed it happening, as the system concealed the karma around Tia, which instantly made those people who saw her face forget her real appearance.

Moments later, as Tia's consciousness returned, she remained blind, unable to see.

Before her stood a huge, towering throne, its surface pulsing with molten gold veins.

Celestial patterns shimmered behind it, shifting with each glance.

Nervous as she was, she didn't have the power to resist the force before her, so she accepted her fate, thinking it would kill her.

But as she recalled the memories and the warmth with her family, Tia couldn't stop her tears from flowing.

Thinking of them, she didn't understand why this was suddenly happening to her.

She hadn't even done anything.

So, she just sobbed there, muttering her parents' names.

"Mama... Papa..." she sobbed, her voice trembling with raw emotion, as she cried uncontrollably.

A hand enveloped her entire body, hugging her tightly.

Even with her body covered in dirt and wounds, she could still feel the warmth.

"It's okay now, just cry,"

the sound of the voice was soft and childlike, but it filled her with warmth, enveloping her heart.

She wanted to ask who it was, but another hand embraced her, which made her dazed. A fragrance filled the air, making her at ease.

These hands were none other than Ella, who was tightly hugging Tia without even complaining about how dirty Tia's body was.

"You don't have to ask anything, as you are safe now, and we will take care of you as your master."

Hearing this, Tia tilted her head in confusion and responded timidly.

"Master? What do you mean?"

Her voice was soft and shaky, making Ella feel even more pity.

She quickly responded.

"You were mistreated there, but we will take care of you now. You don't have to worry about food anymore, and those who bullied you will never hurt you again."

Ella's voice was reassuring to listen to, as if her words weren't false, making Tia's hope instantly recover.

She asked.

"Who, who are you? Could it be I am dead?" Tia said, as she began to listen to her surroundings and couldn't hear people talking like in the streets anymore.

There was only the tranquility and warmth of the twins who were tightly embracing her.

Suddenly, a voice responded.

"You are not dead. We are only temporarily saving you. If you don't accept us as your master, you will really die of hunger."

Ella said this in a straightforward voice.

Olivia frowned hearing it and glared at Ella for her rudeness, which made Ella smile awkwardly.

She didn't have a choice but to threaten her childishly because she was afraid of Tia rejecting their offer.

But to their surprise, Tia instantly responded.

"Really? Then I will accept you as my master. I want to live."

Tia's voice was shaky but full of unbreakable resolve.

She immediately went to kneel, causing the system to ring in response, making Ella surprised as it triggered an unexpected prompt.
