Everything seemed to be going well for Lucy, she had God with her and people who cared a bit or so she thought. It was January a new year a new beginning. Earlier on her second Dad began giving her space and lacked time for her, although she wasn't happy about it,she never complained she pondered about leaving him for so many times. Until that day on January 3rd, she had a call with her second Dad and he said something that cleared her doubt (she was no longer needed). She didn't react kept talking to him waiting for the call to end, her second Dad advised her to start reading for her exams. Unknowingly for both of them that would be the last time they would both talk. Lucy agreed and made a decision to start reading and also another decision to forget him and continue her life with God☺️. She kept going regardless, she fought the urge to text or call him while asking God to help her. She didn't understand why she had to be hurt a lot times but she trusted and kept going.
The next day Lucy started a 5hour daily read she started reading effortlessly so as to do well in her exams during this time her relationship with God deepened.
She was three weeks into this when she started feeling tired and week and wanting to take a rest, she felt awful but then God asked her to take a break and continue as the exams were still far. She listened and took a rest, she confided in God and asked for his help daily, she made time for prayers and bible studies at night, she continued no matter how exhausting it was God kept her going🥹. With time it was just 2 days before her exam she panicked a little and prayed and asked God for help again,God assured her he would help her but she should also work hard in the remaining 2 days. Lucy agreed and took it within herself to read for 10 hours each day. And then came the day of her exam.✨
