Run! This Donghuang Guy Is Insane!
Once the battle began—
There was no room for restraint.
The Divine Eagle trainers who had come to "execute" Ethan were now the ones panicking.
No one told them he had five Divine-tier Pokémon.
Five.
Some of them had lived their entire lives without seeing even one.
And now they were supposed to fight five at once?
This wasn't an ambush.
This was suicide.
Desperation
From the edge of the arena, Owen roared:
"Forget the Pokémon!"
"Kill Ethan!"
"Whoever kills him—my Morgan family will pay one hundred million!"
Another hundred million.
The word spread instantly across the battlefield.
One hundred million—
For killing a single human.
No matter how strong a trainer was—
They were still flesh and blood.
Any Pokémon could kill a human.
And these were elite trainers.
Eyes turned.
Targets shifted.
Greed overrode fear.
More Poké Balls were thrown.
Many of them had only sent out one Pokémon earlier.
Now—
They released everything.
Ethan's Countermove
Ethan's expression hardened.
"Metagross."
"Bullet Punch."
"Punch through the ceiling."
"If they want to go big—"
"I'll go bigger."
The underground arena restricted movement.
Too many Pokémon.
Too little space.
Outside—
Was freedom.
Metagross shot upward.
Each Divine-tier punch carried overwhelming force.
Boom!
Boom!
Concrete cracked.
Then—
A metallic clang.
The cement shattered—
Revealing thick reinforced steel beneath.
Ethan looked up and understood instantly.
A sealed iron cage.
No wonder they brought him here.
A kill box.
Metagross' blows dented the metal—
But didn't break it.
"Blazehound!"
"Flamethrower!"
Arcanine leapt forward, flames erupting from its maw.
The temperature spiked violently.
Within seconds—
The steel glowed red.
If you can't punch through—
Burn through.
Chaos Escalates
"Stop that Pokémon!"
Owen shouted frantically.
The Divine Eagle trainers were drenched in sweat.
The heat alone was suffocating.
And now they had to approach it?
But—
One hundred million.
They gritted their teeth.
"Tornadus!"
"Leaf Storm Barrier!"
Tornadus summoned a spiraling storm beneath Blazehound.
The cyclone expanded rapidly—
Tens of meters wide.
It lifted Blazehound into the air.
Any attack sent toward it—
Was shredded or deflected by the storm wall.
The Nuclear Option
"Thundurus."
"Full output."
Thundurus froze.
"Full… output?"
Even it hesitated.
"You heard me."
"Don't question my command."
Thunder gathered instantly.
A small sphere of lightning formed between its palms.
Energy poured in endlessly.
Two meters.
Five meters.
Ten meters.
Fifteen meters in diameter.
The air screamed.
The trainers finally understood.
"WHAT THE HELL?!"
"Protect me!"
"This Donghuang lunatic is insane!"
"Does he want to die with us?!"
They weren't afraid of Divine Pokémon anymore.
They were afraid of Ethan.
This was a sealed arena.
If that detonated—
Everyone inside would be hit.
Including him.
But Ethan didn't blink.
He calculated.
Measured.
Then—
"Release it."
The colossal thunder sphere shot toward the center of the arena.
For half a second—
Silence.
Then—
BOOM.
Lightning exploded outward.
Electric arcs flooded the entire underground stadium.
Humans.
Pokémon.
Everything was engulfed.
The slower ones collapsed instantly.
Even many Champion-tier Pokémon were paralyzed and dropped.
Only a handful with extreme defensive measures survived the blast barely standing.
When the light faded—
The arena was nearly silent.
Only crackling electricity and the faint wind remained.
Smoke drifted.
Bodies lay scattered.
And in the center—
Ethan stood unharmed.
Not even singed.
Because he wasn't just a trainer.
He was the only human in the world who could see Pokémon stat panels.
Who understood elemental resistance.
Who had trained his own body alongside his Pokémon.
That thunder sphere?
It wasn't recklessness.
It was calculated devastation.
Across the arena—
The Divine Eagle elites finally understood something terrifying.
They hadn't trapped a prodigy.
They had unleashed a catastrophe.
