"Hello...Hello...WAKE UP!!!"
My body jolted awake from the shout, and I slammed my head against the wall. "What the fuck is your problem, lady?"
"Haha, sorry," she replied, "but the train has arrived at it's destination, handsome".
Handsome? Me? Did I really get a compliment from a girl? I must still be sleeping. But goddam, why did she have to wake me up like that? That shit is going to give me a heart attack. Anyways, I now remembered why I was on this train in the first place. I look out the window with a bored expression and see the beautiful island dominated by a huge school that looked like a mansion.
"It's beautiful isn't it?" she said. "You must be talented to go to that school, since it only accepts the best".
"Well, I just study a lot in my free time," I said, embarrassed by the compliment. She was right, though; this school guaranteed a successful life. I still couldn't believe they accepted me, considering only 20 people are chosen. It seemed too good to be true, but it was government-funded, so I doubt it was a scam.
"Ah, I forgot to introduce myself". The name is Ria and yours?"
"Nice to meet you, Ria. The name is John".
"Are you also a student who is attending this school?"
"No way" said Ria with haste. "I'm the tour guide for this school, so don't mistake me for a student".
So she is the guide I heard about in the application. She certainly is cute, I thought, dazed, still staring at her before she made a cough noise to gain back my attention.
"Um, John? You're gonna be late for the first day of class. You should get going.
"R-right, I should get going, I will see you after class for the tour" said John.
"Yeah I will see you then" she said with a smile.
I got off the train and took in the school. As I walked towards the entrance, I saw a group of five students waiting there. Not knowing this was the start of hell.
