"Were you sent by Leo to come here and spread lies?" Henry's deep voice sliced through the air as he shoved the door wide open.
Martin jolted, snapping his head toward the sound. His breath hitched as he saw Henry standing there with a piercing, predatory gaze.
"I can prove that everything I've said is the truth, Mr. Wildblood," Martin countered, turning his body to challenge Henry's stare as the man strode into the room with large, threatening steps.
"The cruelty you and your kind inflicted on Celine for ten years is proof enough that you are all a pack of liars!" Henry barked. His voice was low, vibrating with a suppressed tremors of rage. He stood inches from Martin, intimidating the man with the sheer difference in their height.
