Synopsis
Xuè Wúshēng was once feared throughout the world of Tianxia. Known as the King of Cruelty, the King of Destruction, and the King of Darkness, he annihilated every Immortal without leaving a single trace behind. The heavens were drenched in blood, and the earth collapsed beneath his steps. Yet his arrogance reached its end when he challenged Tiān Jūn, the Sovereign of the Heavens. The battle ended in an instant — Xuè Wúshēng was slain by a single strike. But death was not his end. Witnessing the suffering that had shaped Xuè Wúshēng’s cruelty, Tiān Jūn granted him a second chance. He was reborn in the body of a young man who bore the same name — Xuè Wúshēng, the youngest son of the Xuè Clan, one of the strongest clans within the Dominic Alliance. This world was different, yet the shadows of his past still haunted him. With memories and power that once shook Tianxia, Xuè Wúshēng now stands at the crossroads of fate. Will he return as the king of destruction he once was? Or will he choose a new path — one where he protects humanity from the monsters, spirits, and demons that slowly devour his new world?

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

"Hahahaha! Now, this world belongs to me!!"

Xuè Wúshēng roared as he raised his sword high into the air. He stood atop a mountain of overlapping corpses, blood flowing like a flood, soaking the land beneath his feet.

He was known as the King of Destruction, the King of Cruelty, the King of Darkness.

A being both feared and despised throughout the world of Tianxia.

Tianxia was an immortal world, born from the shattered remains of an ancient star called Shenxu. Its catastrophic explosion had broken the world into floating continents and endless seas of mist. The sky constantly shifted in color, responding to the circulation of the world's qi.

The sun was known as the Heavenly Flame, while the moon was called the Yin Mirror.

At times, two moons would appear together—an omen of an impending great change.

This was the world of immortals.

A world that acknowledged only strength.

After thousands of years of relentless slaughter, clan after clan had fallen beneath his blade. When everything finally came to an end, only a single life remained in the world—

Xuè Wúshēng.

He lifted his gaze upward. His body slowly rose from the ground as three different-colored qi spiraled chaotically around him.

"Are you all satisfied with watching?" he shouted.

"Satisfied with witnessing the destruction I have caused? No one can rival me. No one is worthy. Everyone is already dead!"

He laughed wildly, his laughter echoing far into the distance. Then his expression hardened, his gaze piercing straight into the heavens.

"Now… it's your turn. My turn to destroy you."

Dark clouds began to gather and swirl directly above him. A yellowish light poured down, pressing upon the land with overwhelming qi pressure.

"Xuè Wúshēng!"

A voice resounded from the sky.

"Why did you do all of this? What crime did they commit for you to slaughter them without mercy?"

"Hahahaha…"

Xuè Wúshēng sneered.

"Do you still not understand?" he said mockingly. "This world was created for immortals. For warriors." "It is not a place for peace, but a battlefield to determine who is strongest."

He raised his sword and pointed it straight toward the heavens.

"And now, I am the one standing at the peak."

"Come down. Let us decide… who truly deserves to rule."

"Xuè Wúshēng," the voice echoed again, calmer this time, yet heavy with authority. "I know where that hatred comes from. An immortal born weak, endlessly humiliated, trampled like trash within his own clan. You endured all of that for hundreds of years."

"Even the power you possess today was earned through your own blood and sweat. No one ever handed it to you."

The voice paused briefly before continuing.

"But… must you truly annihilate every immortal in this world? Those who never knew you, never looked at you, let alone humiliated you?"

"Silence!"

Xuè Wúshēng's scream tore through the sky.

"Spare me your words. If you have the courage, come down! Don't hide like a coward!"

A long sigh echoed across the heavens.

"You will never win against me, Xuè Wúshēng."

"Hahahaha… boasting before the battle even begins."

Xuè Wúshēng laughed coldly as his body shot forward, piercing straight into the violently swirling vortex of clouds.

"Merciless Sword Style!"

He thrust his sword into the air. In an instant, a colossal sword formed, surging forward as it slammed into the vortex.

But suddenly—

An enormous fingertip emerged from within the vortex, stopping the massive sword with a single touch.

Crack!

The sword shattered into countless fragments.

A wave of aura erupted from that fingertip, crashing into Xuè Wúshēng's body. Flames instantly engulfed him, scorching his flesh and the qi surrounding him.

"Hahahaha!"

Xuè Wúshēng laughed—not in agony—despite his entire body being devoured by fire.

"I like you, Xuè Wúshēng," the voice spoke, calm and profound. "You are not a monster. It is this world that gave birth to a monster like you."

The yellowish light pulsed slowly.

"I will grant you one opportunity. A chance to obtain a better life, to live as a human should. Your strength will remain with you."

"Do not waste the opportunity I am giving you."

When the words ended, the light slowly ascended into the heavens and vanished. The swirling clouds gradually dispersed, returning to their original state, as if nothing had ever happened.

Below, Xuè Wúshēng's body crashed onto the pile of corpses. The flames consuming him intensified, devouring flesh, bone, and qi until finally—

Nothing remained.

Only ashes scattered by the wind,

and a world without inhabitants.
