Chapter 63 - | Wander

It's 7:00 in the morning and I woke up from Tabitha's alarm. "So early…" I said as I put my head under the pillow. "Maria, wake up," said Tabitha as she sat aggressively on my bed, making me bounce on it. I grunt. "Aren't you excited for the wedding?" Asked Tabitha with excitement in her voice. I removed the pillow above my head and looked at her with eyes half open. "I am. But it's still so early…" I answered as I placed the pillow above my head again.

Tabitha didn't talk again, but instead, she made me bounce up and down my bed as she bounced on it. I'm getting dizzy…"Alright, alright!" I said as I sat down and she stopped bouncing. Then we heard a knock from the door, "I'll go see who it is," said Tabitha as she stood up then ran towards the door. I sighed and stood up from the bed as well.

"Good morning, Jude," greet Tabitha as I walk inside the bathroom to fix myself. I'm not used to waking up this early in the morning. As soon as I walked out of the bathroom, Tabitha was already in front of me with a huge smile. "What did Jude say?" I asked as I walked towards my bag to take out my towel to wipe my face with. "He knows a place where we can eat breakfast and they're already waking up the others," answered Tabitha, following me.

I remembered that there's still money left in my wallet so I faced Tabitha, "Shall we split with the breakfast?" I asked Tabitha with a smile. She nodded in response, still with a smile on her face. And so, after we made ourselves presentable to go out of our room, Tabitha and I went to the room where Yeshua is staying and saw that all of them were already there. "Good morning!" Greet Jaime with a smile to us. "G-good morning," greets Tabitha shyly.

After our morning meeting with Yeshua, we headed out of the inn and went to the place that Jude knows where we can eat breakfast. We all had a great time eating breakfast there, especially Yeshua, because He finally ate pancakes again. The boys volunteered to pay for the bill but even with their money combined, it wasn't enough to pay for the whole bill. So Tabitha and I paid for it.

There's still plenty of time before it's lunch time so we all decided to wander around the city in different groups. Yeshua prefers to wander around alone; Jaime, John, Tabitha, Matthew, and I were the first group; Simon, Andrew, Jude, James, and Thomas were the other group.

This is the very first time we were able to wander around in a city like this! The city beyond the mountains isn't as advanced as this city. Their buildings? Quadruple of the sizes of the buildings back in the town! The highest building there is up to 7 floors. We took pictures like tourists everywhere we went. Then I see those quiet interactions of Jaime and Tabitha while John, Matthew and I were busy looking at different things.

Lunch time came and we all came back to the inn with takeouts. We all agreed to eat lunch in our own rooms as we prepare ourselves for the wedding that we'll be attending later. "Is everyone here?" Asked Simon as we reached the floor of our rooms. We all looked at each other and I said, "Yeshua's not here."

"What?" Said Simon and all of us were about to panic when… "Shall we?" All of us looked at the person who spoke and saw Yeshua behind us. "Teacher!" They all called Yeshua. I sighed in relief. "Yes, we shall, Teacher," I answered with a smile, and we all went inside our own rooms to eat our takeouts while preparing.

"I can't believe you have a hair curler as well!" Said Tabitha as I unpack my things, specifically my makeup kit and Alice's hair curler. "It's my younger sister's," I replied then placed my makeup kit and hair curler onto the bed. "Who's going to take a shower first?" Asked Tabitha, I walked towards her and said, "Let's play rock, paper, scissors and whoever wins will go first," I answered and we played. Tabitha won so she took a shower first while I ate lunch.
