We finally finished eating dinner and before we even reached back to our own rooms, we thanked Tabitha for paying for our dinner. Thomas stayed in the room of the four brothers as long as they wouldn't behave like teenage boys who wrestled with each other again.
As soon as I closed the door of our room, "Do you like Jaime?" I asked Tabitha without any hesitation. She quickly looked at me and her face turned red. I covered my mouth with both my hands then quickly walked towards Tabitha. "No way!" I said as I held her shoulders. Tabitha tightened her lips then slowly nodded. I was about to scream in excitement when Tabitha quickly covered my mouth. "Please don't tell him," she said. I nodded in response because she's still covering my mouth.
Tabitha slowly removed her hand from my mouth and I can't help but to smile. I can't believe Tabitha also likes Jaime! I quickly grabbed both her hands, pulled her towards my bed then asked, "Since when?" Tabitha couldn't help but to smile as well then looked away from me. Instead of answering me, she shook her head. The smile on my face slowly faded as I also shook my head imitating her.
"I-It's ridiculous," said Tabitha, still not looking at me. "Try me," I said without hesitation. Tabitha closed her eyes then shook her head. I pulled both her hands that I'm still holding, making her open her eyes again and look at me. Tabitha's face turned as red as a tomato, making me let go of her hands and place the back of my palm on her forehead to check her temperature. Well, thank God it's not fever that's making her turn red.
"I-I do not have a fever!" Said Tabitha as she removed my hand from her forehead. "I-I'll tell you when I'm ready, Maria. Can you wait?" Continued Tabitha as she looked me in the eyes. I sighed with a faint smile then nodded in response. "I'll wait. Surprise me," I answered Tabitha while looking at her. You can't force someone who doesn't want to. Besides, forcing someone is like taking away their free will to choose.
