Amuro took his phone and saw a missed call. He confirmed it to the Inspector that she indeed tried to call him.
"But she didn't tell me she was going back." Amuro whispered.
The whole place looked worried, no clues as to what had happened to the young lady. While looking utterly disturbed, the atmosphere changed when Amuro's phone rang, it was from an unknown number.
He was reluctant to answer but he decided to accept the call. "Yes?" He asked. Everyone looked at him. There were silence for a while. Then he heard patterns, someone was tapping and scratching. As soon as the little tap and scratch was done. A moment of realization came to the two individuals.
Conan looked up at Amuro who also glanced at him. They nodded in understanding, it was Morse Code. Amuro quickly ran outside without hesitation as Conan did the same.
Everyone looked confused about their behavior, Conan stopped for a second and shouted the location to the Inspector and immediately went inside Amuro's car as he sped up to where the woman, Luna Noir was being held.
~Few minutes later~
After stopping in front of an abandoned building near the lake where the phone was found, Amuro looked at Conan, signaling him not to do anything that could harm himself. Conan nodded as they enter the building as silent as they can.
Voices echoed everywhere. Amuro and Conan instinctively hid behind pillars.
"I told you that this was a bad idea!" The man with a buzz cut shouted, looking uneasy. The man in front of him sighed as he took his phone out, appearing to call someone.
They continued to argue as the phone rang. While two people scanned the whole place. Amuro ruled out that there were five person inside the building. Him, Conan, the two guys arguing with each other, and a woman sitting on a chair, her mouth covered with a black scarf.
After confirming that only one of them had a gun, he signaled Conan and appeared in front of the guys.
They were shocked of course, seeing an unknown man in front of them while they have a woman tied up on a chair.
A brawl happened, Amuro fought the two of them, he went and kicked the other one with the gun. And punched the other. Conan walked towards the woman and started untying her.
In a few minutes, the fight ended, having Amuro as an obvious winner. Conan as obvious as it seems thought that a PSB officer is indeed amazing.
Amuro ran towards them without hesitation. Sirens filled the whole area. Police officers arrested the two guys.
The woman groaned, slowly opening her eyes. She smiled. "...Toru?" she said as the man smiled and lifted her out of the building.
~At The Hospital~
"Someone put them up to it?" Amuro asked raising an eyebrow.
"Yes...according to the guy identified as Asamichi Kyohei someone called them to kidnapped Ms. Noir. The caller hid his voice and dropped the money in a location given to them. They said it was three days ago when they received the call." Detective Takagi explained.
"They didn't know who it was but they accepted the job anyway", he added.
"And what did the caller say when they abducted her? Does he want something to do to her?" Conan asked curiously. The woman looked at her, fascinated and shocked.
"Apparently the caller didn't respond to any calls that they did after the kidnapping. They were panicking on what to do to Miss Noir." Detective Takagi answered.
"But is there anything we can do about this Detective?" Akiyama Ayane concerningly asked, she's Luna Noir's manager and arrived at the hospital after Luna was admitted.
Detective Takagi sighed, "unfortunately we have no clues, there was no trace of someone, and no motives".
"Maybe it's a prank from an extreme fan? I have a lot going on as a rising violinist, you see." said the woman who was quiet for a while now. She smiled and looked more than fine, not caring that another kidnapping might happen.
"Even if it is, it's too much. You could've gotten hurt, you know! That's it, I'm assigning a bodyguard for you, I should've done that a while back." Akiyama said fuming with anger.
The unbothered victim chuckled, "I told you I'm okay. It's not really a big deal. You know what, you could use a bit air right now." The manager sighed and walked out of the room.
"Are you sure it's okay?" Detective Takagi added. "It's fine. Aside from being used to it, this type of thing doesn't really faze me that much, those fans just wanted a little prank. They mean no harm, really." she said as she ate apples cut by Amuro who seemed worried but decided to stay quiet.
Conan also sighed as they couldn't do anything against her carefree self. The doors burst open, Ran, Sonoko, Haibara, Ayumi, Genta, and Mitsuhiko was behind it. Before they could even process everything, Sonoko squealed as she saw the woman half lying on bed, "Woahhhh...it really is Luna Noir!!"
