Indhu's POV
It was a lazy Sunday morning—the kind that begged me to stay in bed longer than usual.
After the chaotic fun at the mall the previous day, all of us had come home exhausted, dropped a casual "gn" in the group chat, and crashed into sleep.
I had no idea that while I was sleeping peacefully, something dangerous was being planned.
Later, I'd find out there was a separate group chat.
I wasn't in it.
The title?
"Operation Prankdhu 👀🎭"
It was created by Charlotte at 7:13 a.m.
Members: Charlotte, Swetha, Rohan, and Aditya.
Target: Me.
—
While I was still half-asleep, notifications started buzzing.
Swetha suddenly messaged in the main V5 group:
"Guys, the school is open today na? Extra classes. You reached?"
My heart dropped.
"What? What??! 😳😳 Extra classes???" I typed back instantly.
Charlotte replied right away.
"Yes. It was announced on Friday afternoon. You didn't note?"
My stomach twisted.
"You people are lying. Don't do. Tell now. Are you joking?? 😭"
Then Aditya sent a voice note. His voice sounded serious. Sleepy. Real.
"Indhu, I just reached the school gate. Even security scolded me for being late."
Before I could even process that, Rohan sent a blurry photo—him standing in front of a building that looked suspiciously like our school.
"Indhu… it's almost 8:15, ma'am already asked for attendance."
I panicked.
I sent a voice note without thinking.
"DAAA WHAAATTTTT I'M BRUSHING ONLY NOW!!! Don't joke da please!! My stomach is becoming scared 😭"
Swetha replied calmly, like this was completely normal.
"If you start now, you can reach before the second period."
—
I typed fast.
"Wait I'm calling my mom."
Two minutes later:
"She said no school 😭 You people are pranking!"
Relief started creeping in—until Charlotte sent another message.
"We called ma'am, she said only selected students were informed. You're in that list, Indhu. Sorry 😅"
My heart sank again.
Rohan added:
"Pack lunch and come fast. Today is project discussion also."
I was fully panicking now.
"DAAAA YOU PEOPLE 😭 I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHICH UNIFORM 😭"
I didn't even think. I just sent a picture.
A blurry selfie—half uniform on, towel on my head, brushing one side of my hair, standing near my cupboard.
"I'M GETTING READY. IF THIS IS A PRANK I'M GOING TO MURDER YOU ALL 😡😡😡"
—
Then suddenly, Aditya sent a voice note.
Dramatic. Eerie music playing.
"Indhu, before you step out the house, look behind you. This was all—"
Before he could finish, Charlotte jumped in.
"…a prank by Operation Prankdhu 🎉 You've been caught!!"
My screen exploded.
Swetha sent a GIF of a laughing baby rolling on the floor.
Rohan sent a sticker that said Gotcha!
I stared at the screen.
"…."
"…."
Then I typed.
"I HAVE PUT UNIFORM. I HAVE POLISHED SHOE. I EVEN PACKED IDLI."
Another message followed immediately.
"JUST WAIT. MONDAY. I'M COMING FOR ALL YOUR HEADS."
I sent another selfie—this time fully dressed in uniform, holding a plate of idli, my face screaming betrayal.
—
They laughed for ten straight minutes.
"Best Sunday ever 😂"
"Mission successful!"
"She packed idli 😭😭😭"
And just like that, Operation Prankdhu ended—
becoming one of the most iconic betrayals in our group's history.
But Monday?
Monday was personal.
