"I look like a different person," Lilian whispered, unable to look away from her reflection.
Adrian stood a step behind her, studying the result, and satisfied with his work. "You look like yourself," he corrected her in a gentle tone. "Just elevated. You're a vampire princess now, and it is only right that look like one."
Her fingers tightened slightly against the edge of the vanity.
