"Where is Andrej right now?" I asked Dario.
Dario shifted his weight, suddenly looking amused.
"He's keeping your wife and Shauna busy, boss. They're down by the garden with Matteo, watching the crew pull down the shed.
"It was Andrej's idea—he told them he wanted to spend one last moment there with Shauna to reminisce about their time in that place before it was gone for good. It's working. They're completely distracted."
I nodded thoughtfully, a knot satisfaction loosening in my chest. It was a solid plan.
The shed was an eyesore, a weathering wooden cage I had totally forgot and needed to erase.
Using it as a ruse to keep Niamh and Shauna away while we carried out my plan, was exactly the kind of tactical thinking I expected from my men.
"Very Good," I said, finally closing the lid of my laptop. The screen went dark, reflecting my own grim expression for a fleeting second.
