Seyah appeared in front of them.
"And don't forget about her," Brenille warned them about Seyah. No one knows where she went, but she hopes she won't attack any of them. "Beware of her, too." He's right. They should be careful with Seyah, too.
"For now, let's take a rest first," Trake recommended.
Trake and Heavien couldn't sleep, so Rochevel, Seyah, and Brenille went up to their respective rooms. They stayed in the living area, sitting on the sofa.
She glanced at the clock and wondered why the seconds hand was not moving. Aside from the fact that it might no longer work, the three hands of the clock stopped at number 1, and all hands are evenly pointed.
If the clock is just broken, the game started at 6:30 PM, and it was only about thirty minutes ago when the game started, but why is it pointing its three hands at number 1?
She called Trake for help.
"Trake, can you grab that clock?" She requested of him.
Trake peered up at the clock. "Alright, why?"
"Something's wrong with it."
He took a chair from the kitchen and stood on it. He came down from the chair and handed her the clock. He then sat down next to her. She checked each side of it. It cannot be opened, meaning it does not hold a battery.
"Maybe it draws power from the sun. You know, a solar panel type?" Trake thought of that possibility, too.
"Before the game started, we were just confined here with no doors or windows open, like in the castle." The sun cannot simply penetrate this part of the mansion.
Confused, she just put the clock on the coffee table.
Heavien thought of her moments with Leonthan. They got a lot together at school and in this game. She never thought he would leave her. He is gone because he was protecting her, so she promised Leonthan that... as long as she can, she will live for him.
She doesn't want to go home, neglecting the sacrifice he made. She hopes if... if he were still alive, someone would cheer her up and would give her a charm just like last time. She wants to stop imagining that he still lives. The truth must be accepted. But why can't she help but look forward when she sees that there is really no hope left?
"Hey! There's something in here!"
Trake and Heavien were startled to hear some news from Seyah from the second floor.
"Let's go!" Trake ran.
They hurried upstairs and saw Seyah sitting opposite Rochevel's bedroom door.
"Seyah, what happened?" Heavien questioned Seyah. She is astonished as Seyah points to the slightly open door of Rochevel's bedroom.
Heavien slowly opened the slightly open door, and her eyes couldn't believe what she saw. Her surroundings slowed, and she stared at the body that was seen.
"Roche...vel?"
Her tears flowed. She knelt while observing her friend's body. She is sitting on the floor and leaning against the wall. Her chest is bleeding from a sharp object. She was stabbed with it. They witness her lifeless body bathed in her own blood. Fearing blood, she approached Rochevel and embraced her while crying. She held her wrist, and maybe there was still hope, but not a beat was heard in response.
"Rochevel!"
She is full of remorse again. Two of her closest friends are gone in one night.
"What happened?" She heard Brenille's voice asking. "What the?!"
"Who did this?" Trake is puzzled.
"Could it be that boy Jecko? He's been missing for a while. I was asleep, so I didn't notice anything strange. But he's the one with the highest chance of doing that." Seyah stated her opinion.
Jecko again. He is probably planning to kill them all to satisfy himself. He is becoming too greedy. He no longer cared about the welfare and lives of others.
"We must cover her corpse," Brenille suggested, and instructed them to do.
Brenille and Trake took a tablecloth from the kitchen and covered Rochevel's corpse. They first hid her in her bedroom and closed the door.
"Why do the corpses not vanish like in our previous games?" Trake pondered.
In previous games, the corpses suddenly disappear and are dispatched automatically by Author, but now, a few minutes have passed, and their bodies are still here.

"Let's sleep here for the meantime," Brenille stated.
Here they are in the living area. They'll sleep together to avoid Jecko's murder intent.
Heavien changed into a new uniform because she had Rochevel's blood on the uniform she was wearing earlier.
Trake and Heavien took the mattresses from the second-floor girls' bedroom. They laid it next to the sofa. The boys slept on the sofa. Seyah and Heavien will sleep on the mattresses. Two girls and two, no, three boys left because Jecko is still missing in action. There is a high possibility that he also killed Rochevel.
Heavien volunteered to stay awake for a night watch since she couldn't fall asleep after all this had happened. She also thought that her time would come too.
She was just really lucky, and she even made it to this stage. This is all thanks to Leonthan for protecting her. She would rather die fighting than die without fighting. As long as she can fight and survive, she will do everything for the people who are important to her, who are now gone.
"Good night," Trake whispered to them and smiled.
Heavien forced a smile behind her complicated feelings. "Good night."
"Just tell me if you need anything."
She smiled at what he said. She's glad that Trake is still there.
She covered herself with a blanket and lay down. She hid her knife under her pillow. She hopes that when the sun rises, it will be over.

Heavien needs to pee. They kept their lights on while they were sleeping to make sure. Even though she felt scared, she hurried to the comfort room. She would have asked Seyah to come with her, but she slept so soundly. Trake also told her to tell him if she needed anything, but it is embarrassing, too.
She entered the comfort room and safely did what she needed to do. She went out and went straight to the kitchen to drink water. She had a lot of tears shed; this got her thirsty. She also can't sleep well because of the fast-paced, severe events that only happened tonight.
While staying awake, she pictured the faces of Leonthan, Rochevel, and Myriana. The more she thinks that they are still alive, the more it hurts her. Why does she always get her hopes up when she already sees them crushing? They are her sources of hope to survive this game. But now that they're no longer here, she has to stand up for them.
Be a victor, not a victim.
It's quite dark here because they only turned on the light in the living area. She didn't turn on the light in the kitchen to prevent them from waking up. She took a glass and opened the refrigerator, drank some water, and was about to return the pitcher. She opened the refrigerator when she saw a human shadow.
"T-Trake? Brenille?" She stutters. It might be Trake or Brenille who went to the kitchen too.
Her hands holding the pitcher are shaking. She just ignored it and opened the refrigerator again to return the pitcher when...
*glass breaking*
*splash*
