Jay POV:
"Jayyy, are you ready?" Keifer asked as he picked Kaira up in his arms.
"Yes, babe. Let's go," I said as I fixed my hair one last time.
I took my bag, and we went downstairs. Kegain and Kerein were already there, waiting for us.
"Woww, baby is looking like a real princess today... That's the first time she's wearing a frock," Kerein said and kissed her cheek.
Kegain looked at her and smiled.
"She actually looks different."
"Of course she does," I said proudly. "I dressed her."
Keifer looked at me.
"You've been staring at her for twenty minutes."
"Because she's cute."
"She's always cute."
I smiled.
"Exactly."
We got into the car, and Keifer drove. Kaira was sleeping peacefully in my arms while I sat beside him.
Soon, we reached the venue.
Keifer had booked the whole hotel for the celebration.
As soon as we entered, we saw everyone waiting for us.
"Hii, Jayyyyy!" Ci-N shouted and ran toward me.
I laughed, but before he could even say anything, his eyes went straight to Kaira.
"Give her to me."
I raised an eyebrow.
"You didn't even say hello to me."
"Hello, Jay."
He immediately took Kaira from me.
I laughed.
"Awww, she's looking so cute," he whispered and kissed her cheeks.
"Hey, brat, give her to me. I am her handsome uncle," Percy said as he walked over.
Ci-N rolled his eyes.
"You say that every time."
"Because it's true."
Percy took Kaira into his arms.
His face immediately softened as he looked at her.
"I will always love you, baby," he said and kissed her head.
I smiled and hugged Percy.
"Jay, Dad is also here," Percy said.
My eyes widened.
I looked toward Dad.
He was standing with Mom and Tita.
A big smile appeared on my face.
I walked toward them while holding Kaira.
"Oh my God... when did you come?" Tita asked.
"Jay, how are you, baby?" Dad asked as he caressed my hair.
"I'm good, Papa."
I hugged him.
Then I handed Kaira to him.
Dad smiled as he carefully took her into his arms.
"I remember the day I held you for the first time like this," he said, looking at me.
My eyes filled with tears.
I hugged him again.
"Papa..."
He smiled and patted my back.
After everyone had greeted us, Keifer stepped forward.
"Okay, everyone, attention here."
Everyone looked at him.
He glanced at me before continuing.
"First of all, thank you so much for coming. We really wanted all of you to be here today."
He looked toward Kaira.
"She's been waiting to meet all of you."
I laughed.
"She was sleeping the whole way here."
Keifer looked at me.
"That's because she knows she's the main character."
Everyone laughed.
He smiled before continuing.
"So, we're really happy that our daughter has so many people around her who already love her."
I looked at him.
That little sentence made me smile.
We carefully placed Kaira inside the decorated crib.
Everyone gathered around to see her.
She was sleeping peacefully, completely unaware of how many people were standing around her.
A little later, Ella came with Aries.
"Congratulations, you two," Ella said with a small smile.
"Thank you," I said.
Aries looked toward the crib.
"Can I hold her?"
I nodded.
"Of course."
I carefully picked Kaira up and handed her to Aries.
He smiled as he looked at her.
"She's so small."
Ella stood beside him and gently touched Kaira's tiny hands.
She smiled.
"She's cute."
I smiled at them.
After a few minutes, Aries carefully handed Kaira back to me.
Then Grace came over with Grazel in her arms.
Grazel immediately noticed Kaira.
"Baby," she said softly.
I smiled.
"Yes, baby.
Grazel reached her little hand toward her.
Grace brought her a little closer, and Grazel gently touched Kaira's cheek.
Kaira moved slightly.
Grazel immediately giggled.
I laughed.
"Looks like she likes her."
Grace smiled.
"She does."
Grazel touched Kaira's little hand again.
"Baby."
"Yes, sweetheart."
Grace smiled and carried Grazel back after a while.
I placed Kaira carefully back into the crib.
Freya came over a little later.
She stood beside the crib and looked down at Kaira.
I smiled at her.
"Do you want to hold her?"
Freya hesitated for a moment before nodding.
"Okay."
I carefully picked Kaira up and handed her to Freya.
Freya held her gently and looked down at her little face.
A small smile appeared on her face.
"She's really cute."
"Yeah," I said.
She stayed quiet for a moment before carefully handing Kaira back to me.
I placed Kaira back in the crib.
Then Aries came over again.
"Kuya Angelo wants to see her."
I looked toward kuya Angelo.
"Kuya!"
kuya Angelo walked over and smiled.
"Let me see my little niece."
I carefully picked Kaira up and handed her to him.
He held her gently.
"She's beautiful."
"Thank you, Kuya."
He gently touched her tiny hand.
"Congratulations, Jay."
"Thank you."
After a while, kuya handed Kaira back to me.
I looked down at her.
She was still sleeping.
"She's been sleeping through everything," I whispered.
Keifer came beside me.
"Just like her mom"
I looked at him.
"Excuse me?"
He smiled.
"I'm kidding."
I lightly hit his arm.
After some time, the music was lowered, and Keifer looked at me.
"Jay."
"Hmm?"
"Ready?"
I knew exactly what he meant.
I smiled and nodded.
We both walked toward the front.
Keifer stood beside me and held my hand.
"Okay, everyone," he said.
Everyone slowly turned toward us.
"We have something we've been waiting to tell you."
I looked at Kaira, then back at everyone.
"We took our time deciding her name."
Keifer looked at me with a small smile.
"Actually, Jay had a few names."
I looked at him.
"Don't expose me."
Everyone laughed.
"She rejected most of mine too," Keifer added.
"Because your names were terrible."
He laughed.
"See?"
Everyone laughed again.
I looked down at Kaira.
There was something about finally saying her name out loud that made my heart feel warm.
I gently placed my hand on her little blanket.
"We wanted her name to mean something to us."
Keifer looked at me, and I smiled.
Then we looked at everyone.
"Her name is..."
We said it together.
"Kaira Serina Marino Watson."
Everyone immediately cheered.
I smiled as I looked at my daughter.
"Kaira," I whispered.
Keifer smiled beside me.
"Kaira Serina."
He looked at me.
"I think it suits her."
I nodded.
"Me too."
Ella smiled.
"That's a really pretty name."
Freya nodded.
"It suits her."
Aries smiled.
"Kaira."
Dad looked at her proudly.
"Welcome to the family, little one."
I smiled.
Keifer reached down and gently touched Kaira's little hand.
"Hey, Kaira."
She moved slightly in her sleep.
He looked at me.
"She heard me."
I laughed.
"Of course she did."
He smiled and shook his head.
"Already ignoring me."
I laughed.
"You'll survive."
He looked at our daughter again.
"Yeah."
He smiled softly.
"I think I'll be okay."
I stood beside him and slipped my hand into his.
We both looked at Kaira.
Our daughter.
Our little Kaira.
And finally, after all those week of waiting, she had a name.
The music started again, everyone went back to talking and laughing, and the celebration continued.
But every now and then, someone would walk over to the crib just to look at her.
And somehow, every time I looked at her...
I still couldn't believe she was ours.
