It was Monday morning and I had a serious hangover that felt like divine punishment and the highest level of dread I hadn't experienced since the day I found out Jayce had cheated on me. The huge difference between me having to walk into that bedroom surprised me. And walking into Daniel's class knowing everything I had said on that call.
I quickly dressed up in clothes that covered everything, pulled my hair into a tight bun and put on my sunglasses as the final touch, despite that we had indoor classes.
"You know you could skip." Ella said the same words over 30 minutes now. "Just say you are sick or something."
"I can't skip his class for the rest of the semester. You're a failure in psychology right and I don't want to go through the trouble of retaking it next year." I shook my head regretting as my hangover pounded in protest.
"I just have to face him eventually. Might as well get over it."
" Brook, you just told him you were still in love with him."
