Krillin didn't miss the chance to twist the knife. "@Vegeta, you should actually be celebrating. In the video, you died without ever knowing that Goku went easy on you. If you'd found out while you were still alive, the shame would have finished you off anyway."

A wave of agreement swept through the Wanjie Multiverse chat. The viewers remembered how Vegeta had deliberately surrendered his soul to Babidi's magic just to bridge the gap between him and Kakarot. If he realized that even after selling his pride, he only managed to draw against a Goku who was hiding the Super Saiyan 3 transformation in reserve... his mind would have snapped.

"It's also a good thing you checked out early," Yamcha added, piling on. "Seeing two kids fuse and reach Super Saiyan 3 would have made your head explode."

Vegeta sat in the dark of his training chamber, his face twitching with suppressed rage. He wanted to scream, to lash out, but he found himself unable to refute them. He knew his own heart. If he had stood there and witnessed his rival's true power—and then saw his own son surpass him through a fusion dance—he truly would have lost his mind. In a twisted way, dying before the reveal was the only mercy he had been granted.

"Since they are both Super Saiyan 3," Garp mused, "Gotenks's power should theoretically exceed Goku's. He is a fused warrior, after all. Is this where Majin Buu finally meets his end?"

Genos, ever the analyst, nodded. "Frieza fell to Super Saiyan 1 Goku. Cell fell to Super Saiyan 2 Gohan. It stands to reason that Majin Buu will fall to Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks. It follows a logical progression of power."

"I don't think so," Duanmu Yan interrupted. "Don't forget, 'Mystic Gohan' hasn't appeared yet. If Buu is defeated here, Gohan's new form becomes irrelevant to the narrative."

The realization hit the viewers like a physical shock. If the narrator had already teased a peak version of Gohan, then this battle couldn't be the end. Did that mean even the overwhelming power of Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks wasn't enough to kill the monster?

The video surged forward to answer them.

Inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Gotenks let out a roar that eclipsed his previous attempts. The sheer density of his golden Ki shredded the fabric of reality, tearing a hole even larger than the one Buu had made. Gotenks and Piccolo leaped through, tumbling back onto the Lookout.

They found Majin Buu standing with his back to them, his chin dripping with brown stains.

"Where are the others?" Gotenks demanded, his voice trembling.

Buu turned, patting his bloated belly with a sadistic grin, indicating that everyone on the Lookout had already been consumed.

The rage that followed was tectonic. Gotenks lunged, and this time, the battle was a one-sided slaughter. Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks moved with such speed and ferocity that Buu could barely track him. Despite the occasional clever counter-attack from the pink monster, Gotenks was dominating the field. Buu's mental state began to fracture; he had never faced a mortal who could actually overpower him.

But as Gotenks prepared the final, soul-crushing blow, his flashy personality became his undoing. Instead of finishing the fight, he paused to gloat. In that heartbeat of arrogance, the golden light flickered and died. He reverted to his base form, and a second later, the fusion snapped. Goten and Trunks stood there, separate and exhausted.

The immense drain of Super Saiyan 3 had cut their fusion time to a mere five minutes. They had spent their miracle showing off, and now the miracle was gone.

"Why?" Sengoku shouted, his Fleet Admiral instincts screaming in frustration. "Vegeta, Gohan, and now these kids—why does everyone in this universe feel the need to show off? Don't they understand the price of arrogance?"

To a man like Sengoku, who managed lives on a global scale, such recklessness was unforgivable. When facing a world-ender like Buu, a single mistake didn't just cost a life—it cost a planet.

"Now I see why Mystic Gohan has to show up," Garp sighed. "It's not that Gotenks lacked the power; he lacked the discipline. He ran out the clock."

"Go all out from the start and eliminate the threat. That is the only way," Duanmu Yan stated firmly. As a lone defender, he knew that being flashy was a luxury that lead to the grave.

"So, Gohan is the one who finishes it?" Daigo asked.

"I remember Gohan was pretty reckless against Cell, too," Horii noted. "Are we sure he won't just make the same mistake?"

"He won't," Piccolo typed, his tone filled with parental pride. "Gohan learned his lesson when his father died. He won't let us down again."

Across the dimensions, Akira watched the exchange and couldn't help but chuckle. Piccolo clearly had a massive 'dad filter' when it came to his star pupil.

"Is that really true?" Goku's comment appeared, sounding uncharacteristically skeptical. "I don't think it's necessarily so."

"Goku! Don't you even believe in your own son?" Piccolo snapped back.

Akira leaned back, a tactical smirk playing on his lips. He knew the history of the Saiyan bloodline all too well. Would Gohan truly be the savior, or would the Saiyan pride claim another victim?
