The first thing I noticed when I woke up was the scent. It surrounded me. Sandalwood, leather and pine. It was distinctly masculine and familiar.
I opened my eyes slowly. For a second, I didn't know where I was. The room was larger than mine and darker too. I rubbed my eyes as I sat up slowly.
The furniture was simple but expensive. Everything looked simple. They were no unnecessary decorations or ornaments. They were no bright colors either.
The room felt exactly like the man who owned it. My stomach dropped.
