I felt a little disappointed.
The [Vitality Absorb] ability did not activate again. This meant that the ability to plunder could likely only be used once per target.
However, this raised another important question: what exactly could be plundered? If it required a Sin Archbishop, then among the existing ones, only Sirius Romanee-Conti (Wrath) could serve as a target for experimentation.
Should I go find her?
Suddenly, another girl popped into my mind—Thearesia.
She was the first girl to show kindness to me after I arrived in this world, and the first to make my heart flutter. In the original timeline, she met a tragic end. If I left her alone now, she might be killed by the White Whale or kidnapped by the Cult.
'How can I tolerate such a thing?'
My next steps were clear.
First, secure my wives. Second, win over Thearesia and make her mine. Everything else could wait.
"Hey~ you bastard..."
A weak, raspy voice interrupted my thoughts.
I looked down. Capella, the Archbishop of Lust, had just caught her breath but was already trying to spew insults again.
'This woman is truly incorrigible.'
Even though I had disciplined her for hours, she still couldn't control her mouth.
"What! What are you doing!?"
Seeing my gaze sharpen, she panicked. She tried to scramble backward, pressing herself against the carriage wall.
She was truly afraid of me now.
More than once, she had wondered who was the real Archbishop of Lust—her or me. Despite holding the Authority, she was so weak in front of my stamina that she felt ashamed. I was like a wild beast that was never satisfied.
And because of me... she had developed a new symptom: Androphobia.
The thought of any other man touching her—even a finger—filled her with disgust. Even her Authority, which allowed her to transform into anything, couldn't force her to become a man anymore. The psychological barrier was too strong.
Ironically, the only man she didn't feel disgust for... was me. Instead, she felt fear.
As a Princess and an Archbishop, she had never feared anyone. Yet, here she was, trembling.
I reached out and grabbed her wrist.
"Don't want! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! Please forgive me!"
She burst into tears instantly. The arrogance was gone.
"I know I was wrong! And didn't you just say you wouldn't bully me anymore? You promised to let me go!"
Her sobbing was genuine. She knew resistance was futile. Fighting back only made me rougher.
"I'm a person of my word," I said calmly.
I picked up a small, transparent bottle from the seat next to me. Inside, a common housefly buzzed angrily against the glass.
"But if you want me to let you go... turn her back to her original form. Now."
Capella looked at the fly. It was the wife she had kidnapped and transformed as leverage.
She didn't want to obey. But she knew the consequences of refusal.
"I see..." she sniffled.
"Very good."
I uncorked the bottle.
Buzz.
The fly flew out and landed on my finger.
At the same time, Capella raised her trembling hand. She activated her Authority of Lust.
Poof!
A cloud of smoke enveloped the fly. In an instant, it expanded, transforming back into a human girl.
"I... I'm back to normal!"
The girl looked at her hands, then her arms, realizing she was human again.
Then she looked down.
"Eeeek!"
She let out a small shriek. She was naked. Her clothes hadn't transformed with her.
As her face turned bright red and she tried to squat down to cover herself, I grabbed her waist and pulled her into my arms.
"H-Husband..." she whimpered, burying her face in my chest.
"Is this okay? Can you let me go now?" Capella asked from the corner, hugging her knees.
I ignored her for a moment. I needed to verify something important.
"Did Capella do anything bad to you?" I asked the girl in my arms. "After you turned into a fly?"
The shy girl blinked. She thought about it.
"No... absolutely not. After turning me into a fly, she just locked me in a bottle. She threatened me, but... that's all."
"I see. In that case, let me take a quick look."
"Inspection?"
The girl's body stiffened as she realized what I meant.
I checked her quickly.
The proof of her purity remained.
It wasn't that I was being overly cautious; Capella was capable of anything. If she had done something truly disgusting to my wife—like feeding her to monsters or letting others touch her—I wouldn't have let her leave this carriage alive.
I would have dragged her to the slums and let her experience true hell.
But she hadn't.
"Good," I nodded, wrapping my coat around the girl.
