Ren froze for only a second — then everything moved fast.
He got off the bed and grabbed the nearest shirt.
Sora blinked, still sitting on the mattress.
"…You're leaving now?"
Ren buttoned his shirt hurriedly, not even looking in the mirror.
"Yes."
The tone was different. Serious.
Sora's chest tightened.
"Did something happen?"
Ren paused for a brief moment before answering.
"…My mother never calls like that unless it's urgent."
He picked up his watch and phone, already heading toward the door.
Sora scratched his hair, annoyed.
"You're just going to run off? What about me?"
Ren stopped at the doorway, turned back, and walked toward him again.
For a second Sora thought he was going to say something serious—but Ren flicked his forehead.
"Stay here and behave."
"HEY!"
Ren leaned down and kissed his hair softly.
"I'll come back tonight."
Sora's face instantly turned red.
"…You better."
Ren smiled faintly, then left the room.
