Jay's POV (At the Beach)
The sand was warm under my feet, and the waves crashed gently along the shore. I could still feel Keifer's hands around mine from the kiss, and a soft smile kept tugging at my lips.
"So… what now?" I asked, glancing at him.
"Now?" he said, grinning. "We enjoy our day. Just us."
He took my hand and started running lightly toward the water. I laughed, trying to catch up, but he was too fast.
"Keifer! Wait!" I called, my laughter carried away by the wind.
He turned, his eyes sparkling. "You're too slow, Jay!"
I lunged at him, and he spun me around so I almost fell into the waves. The water splashed around us, cold and refreshing, and we both laughed uncontrollably.
"You're impossible!" I gasped, wiping water from my face.
"I know," he replied, pulling me close again. "And you love it."
I blushed and looked away, but I couldn't hide my grin.
We spent hours like that—chasing each other along the shore, sitting together on the sand, dipping our toes in the water. Every time he laughed, my heart jumped. Every time he looked at me, I felt like the only person in the world.
Keifer's POV
I watched her laugh, the sunlight catching her hair and making her eyes shine. She didn't notice, but my chest swelled with something I couldn't put into words.
"Jay," I said, gently brushing a strand of hair from her face, "I could stay like this forever."
She looked up at me, smiling softly, her cheeks tinged pink. "I feel the same way, Keifer."
I leaned down, capturing her lips in another soft kiss. The world faded away again—the sand, the waves, the sun—there was only her.
Jay's POV (Later, on the beach)
After a while, we sat together on the sand, wrapped in a shared towel, watching the waves. I took out my phone to check the group chat.
As expected, our friends had already started reacting. There were texts from C‑N, Drew, Felix, David, Kit, Mayo, Eren, and Emman, all teasing us, making jokes, and sending emojis about us being "too cute."
And then I saw Yuri's message. It was short.
"So… I see someone finally got what they wanted."
I smirked, rolling my eyes. She was clearly jealous—but honestly, I didn't care. Today was about us.
Keifer leaned his head on my shoulder, and I rested my head against his.
No group chat, no teasing, no jealousy mattered anymore.
For now, it was just the ocean, the sun, the sand, and us.
And that was all we needed.
