Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 Dinner

Jay's POV (Leaving the Beach)

The sun was slowly dipping toward the horizon as we left the beach. My hair was damp, and the sand still clung to my feet, but I couldn't stop smiling.

Keifer opened the car door for me like always. I slid in, feeling the comfort of the soft leather seats.

"Ready for the next part of the day?" he asked, turning the engine on.

"Next part?" I repeated, curiosity sparkling in my eyes.

He gave me that half-smile that always made my knees weak. "You'll see."

Keifer's POV (Driving)

I glanced at her, noticing the little sparkle in her eyes. Today was about more than fun at the beach—I wanted to make a memory she would never forget.

The car ride was quiet but easy. She kept glancing out the window, her fingers playing with a strand of damp hair, and I felt that familiar pull in my chest.

Soon, the city skyline appeared, glowing as the sun set behind it. I stopped in front of a tall, glass-fronted building.

"This is it," I said, holding her hand as we stepped out.

Jay's POV (First Look at the Restaurant)

The restaurant's entrance was grand, shining under golden lights. A valet opened the doors as we approached. Inside, crystal chandeliers sparkled, the tables were perfectly arranged, and soft music floated in the air.

I blinked. "Keifer… this place…"

"Is nice, isn't it?" he said, smiling softly. "I wanted to take you somewhere special."

I felt my cheeks heat up. Of course, Keifer Watson—the second richest person in the world—would know just the right place. But it wasn't just the wealth that made my heart race; it was that he wanted me there with him.

Keifer's POV (At the Table)

We were seated by a window overlooking the city lights. I watched her eyes widen at the view, at the dishes being served. But I wasn't here to impress her with money—I was here to share the moment with her.

"Jay," I said, reaching across the table to hold her hand. "I don't care about the lights or the fancy food. Today, I just wanted to be here with you. That's all that matters to me."

She smiled, squeezing my hand. "Keifer… you make even a normal day feel special. This… this is incredible."

I leaned a little closer. "Only because you're here."

She laughed softly, and my chest swelled. I had everything I could ever want, but in this moment, her smile was the richest thing I could hold.

Jay's POV (Dinner)

The evening passed in quiet conversation and laughter. We shared small bites of exquisite food, whispered jokes to each other, and stole soft glances across the table.

I thought about everything that had led to this moment—the chaos of the group chat, the beach, the confession, the kiss. And now… this.

Keifer, the second richest man in the world, sitting here, choosing to spend this perfect evening with me.

I leaned across the table and whispered, "Thank you for today… for everything."

He smiled softly, holding my gaze. "I should be the one thanking you, Jay. You make every moment better. I promise, this is only the beginning."

I smiled back, feeling my heart swell. I knew he meant it.
