Chapter 243 - Chapter 243: Spell Array Annihilation!

When Karl arrived in the Main Universe, a group of people had also entered his universe.

They were none other than the Celestials, who had come to seek revenge.

The Celestials were an enormous collective.

They were powerful, and their numbers were vast.

Although Arishem and the others could be considered part of their core forces, and were also the ones who appeared most often before mortals, they were not the strongest beings among the Celestials.

Among the Celestials, there were plenty who were stronger than them.

However, most of those powerful beings were scattered across different universes, wandering through them.

The strongest among them had even gone beyond the Multiverse to roam.

Even so, there were still powerful Celestials within the universe.

The Commander was one of them.

Among the Celestials who remained stationed in the Main Universe, he was the strongest existence. Because of the chaotic situation, he was responsible for assigning missions to the Celestials.

Tasks such as wiping out certain civilizations or conducting experiments on mortal races all required the Commander's approval.

It could be said that he was the current core of all Celestial members in this universe.

Although Arishem's attempt to kill Karl had been his own initiative, the Commander had approved it as well.

He simply had not expected that Karl would actually kill them instead.

Karl had directly killed six of their members.

This was something unprecedented.

Since the ancient divine war of the distant past, the Celestials had never suffered such a loss again.

For thousands of years, not a single one of them had died.

But now, six had died all at once.

To the Celestials, this was completely unacceptable.

To the Commander, it was even more unacceptable.

This was an enormous challenge to their authority.

And so, the Commander directly summoned more than thirty Celestials from the Main Universe.

They surged out of the Main Universe together, determined to kill Karl on the spot.

"We must crush this man!"

"He has challenged our dignity. As long as he lives, he will remain a disgrace to the Celestials!"

"We will never allow such a thing to happen!"

"Kill him and flatten the universe he belongs to!"

The Commander spoke in fury.

No one knew whether it was for his dead comrades or because his own dignity had been challenged.

"We must not only kill him, we must also destroy his universe outright."

"Let everyone know the consequence of provoking the Celestials."

The Commander's expression was ice-cold as he spoke.

"But if we destroy a universe, will we not have to pay an enormous price?"

One Celestial hesitated before speaking.

"Price?"

"We can fully bear such a price."

"If we all share it together, the burden will not amount to much at all."

The Commander spoke coldly once more.

This time, he had made up his mind.

He would kill Karl directly.

Even if they had to pay a price for it, he would not hesitate.

Leading a large number of Celestials, they arrived outside Karl's universe.

They were just about to destroy this universe when the Commander sensed an unusual aura.

"This is... Arishem and the others' aura?"

"Could they still be alive?"

The Commander hesitated.

He could sense that these auras were extremely weak, as if they were on the verge of fading away.

"That is possible!"

"Our vitality is extremely tenacious."

"That young man is nothing more than an unorthodox outsider. Although he unleashed extraordinary speed and formidable power, he may only have beaten them into a weakened state."

"If we can retrieve even a little fragment of their souls, we will be able to revive them."

One Celestial offered a suggestion.

The Commander thought for a moment and felt that this was possible.

The Celestials seemed numerous.

But compared with other races, their numbers were nothing.

On Earth alone, there were billions of native humans.

That was not even counting the other subspecies.

How many Celestials were there?

Because of that, every single member was extremely precious.

Unless absolutely necessary, they did not want any member to die.

Even if there was only a one-in-ten-thousand chance, they had to save them.

"As long as we obtain a small fragment, we can save them."

The Commander spoke.

More than thirty enormous figures headed directly toward that twisted region.

The rules there were extremely chaotic.

When the Commander saw this highly dangerous area, he frowned deeply.

"It seems that man's strength is far greater than we imagined."

"He actually caused such devastating destruction."

The Celestial members looked at one another.

"That is correct."

"We absolutely cannot underestimate him."

"Arishem and the others used the Primordial Celestial State."

One Celestial spoke.

"Enough."

"Let us all go in and take a look."

"Perhaps those few can still be saved."

The Celestial spoke calmly.

Leading more than thirty Celestial members, they entered the region directly.

The moment he entered, the Commander instinctively frowned.

The rules here were far too chaotic.

But after thinking about his own immense power, the Commander felt that he had nothing to fear.

He led the others straight to the core where the fluctuations were coming from.

Soon, they saw six faint clusters of light fused together.

Clearly, those were Arishem and the others.

However, they had already completely lost all vitality.

"What is going on?"

A trace of doubt surfaced in the Commander's mind.

In the next instant, golden light flashed.

A massive golden spell array appeared around the Celestials in the blink of an eye.

A chill ran down the Commander's back.

A hair-raising sensation erupted through him.

He immediately tried to leave.

But it was too late.

Under the stimulation of the golden spell array, the remaining power cores of the six Celestials exploded directly.

A destructive power emerged at once.

The Celestials' violent souls, their shattered laws, and the countless layers of laws Karl had added into them all erupted in that single instant.

In that moment, this entire world nearly collapsed.

On the spot, several weaker Celestial members were directly vaporized by that terrifying power.

Even their remaining source essence was completely destroyed.

The Commander led more than a dozen powerful beings in continuously resisting the spreading force.

He was the strongest among them.

This kind of powerful fluctuation was not much to him.

But he had to split his focus to protect the other members.

That pressure was far greater.

He almost used his own strength alone to block half of the attacks.

"Leave!"

The Commander roared.

He tried to lead several Celestial members away.

In the next instant, the second layer of Karl's spell array erupted.

Chaos Magic emerged, and his universe disappeared in an instant.

Those powerful forces were directly detonated a second time.

In that instant, an ultimate white power appeared.

The shock spread throughout the entire Multiverse.
