It could be said that he was the current core of all Celestial members in this universe.
Although Arishem's attempt to kill Karl had been his own initiative, the Commander had approved it as well.

"We must not only kill him, we must also destroy his universe outright."
"Let everyone know the consequence of provoking the Celestials."
The Commander's expression was ice-cold as he spoke.
"But if we destroy a universe, will we not have to pay an enormous price?"
One Celestial hesitated before speaking.
"Price?"
"We can fully bear such a price."
"If we all share it together, the burden will not amount to much at all."
The Commander spoke coldly once more.
This time, he had made up his mind.
He would kill Karl directly.
Even if they had to pay a price for it, he would not hesitate.
Leading a large number of Celestials, they arrived outside Karl's universe.
They were just about to destroy this universe when the Commander sensed an unusual aura.
"This is... Arishem and the others' aura?"
"Could they still be alive?"
The Commander hesitated.

He led the others straight to the core where the fluctuations were coming from.
Soon, they saw six faint clusters of light fused together.
Clearly, those were Arishem and the others.

A trace of doubt surfaced in the Commander's mind.
In the next instant, golden light flashed.
A massive golden spell array appeared around the Celestials in the blink of an eye.

Under the stimulation of the golden spell array, the remaining power cores of the six Celestials exploded directly.
A destructive power emerged at once.
The Celestials' violent souls, their shattered laws, and the countless layers of laws Karl had added into them all erupted in that single instant.
In that moment, this entire world nearly collapsed.
On the spot, several weaker Celestial members were directly vaporized by that terrifying power.
Even their remaining source essence was completely destroyed.
The Commander led more than a dozen powerful beings in continuously resisting the spreading force.
He was the strongest among them.
This kind of powerful fluctuation was not much to him.
But he had to split his focus to protect the other members.
That pressure was far greater.
He almost used his own strength alone to block half of the attacks.
"Leave!"
The Commander roared.
He tried to lead several Celestial members away.
