Karl was a cautious man.
Naturally, when it came to scheming against others, he had plenty of experience.
He had calculated the Celestials down to their very core.
He had even taken their personalities into account.
Karl knew that the Celestials were extremely powerful.
In fact, the Celestials he had fought before could not even be considered especially strong among their kind.
There were even stronger beings among the Celestials.
That was why Karl had never intended to kill all of them.
He only wanted to heavily injure them.
He wanted to leave them with a lesson they would never forget.
In fact, detonating the remaining power left behind by those Celestials was not the real killing move.
That was only meant to exhaust the Celestials' strength and break through their defenses.
The true killing move was the various laws and restraints he had left inside them.
Karl had mastered many laws, so the source powers derived from them were naturally abnormal as well.
Perhaps the power of these laws was not the strongest.
But they were definitely extremely troublesome.
The wounds they caused might not be repaired even after hundreds of millions of years.
They would need to rely on slow, painstaking effort to gradually digest the injuries they had suffered.
That was not an easy task.
Even powerful gods would need to spend an enormous amount of time.
If they truly fell into the trap, then forget causing trouble for Karl.
Even protecting themselves would become a problem.
The Multiverse was an extremely dangerous place.
There were many ways to kill someone.
In truth, the Celestials' situation was indeed extremely miserable.
Aside from the strongest among them, the Commander, almost every single one of them was injured.
Several relatively weaker Celestials had all kinds of abnormal marks covering their powerful armor. They were covered in different colors, as if they had been tattooed.
Under the corrosion of those laws, they could only howl continuously in pain.
As their leader, the Commander's expression was as dark as still water.
"Why are you screaming?"
"It is nothing more than a small setback. What are you so afraid of?"
"Do you not know how to suppress it?"
The Commander had consumed far too much power. He had even damaged his source essence.
Even if he had not been injured, he was still extremely furious.
His heart was filled with shock and rage.
He had not expected this to happen so suddenly.
Karl had not even appeared.
Just by relying on a trap, Karl had almost imprisoned all of them.
This was far too abnormal.
Although Karl had indirectly used the self-destruction of six Celestials, this power was still far too terrifying.
The Commander looked at the Celestials around him who were still howling in pain, and he could not help sighing inwardly.
These were all his subordinates.
He could not simply ignore them.
"You useless lot. I still have to act personally."
"I will help you disperse it. It is only a bit of source power, and you cannot even drive that out?"
The Commander snorted coldly.
The other larger Celestial members looked at him helplessly.
They could do nothing.
The Commander might have a poor temper, but his power was unquestionably top-tier, and his attainments were also formidable.
If that were not the case, given their personalities, how could they possibly endure him?
"You should act quickly."
"They can no longer withstand it."
"That human's source powers are indeed powerful. We underestimated him."
"I have observed them. There are at least more than twenty types of source power. This is simply unbelievable."
The Celestial known as Nezarr the Calculator spoke.
"More than twenty types of source power? Are you joking?"
"How can such a monster exist in this world?"
The Commander spoke in shock.
Being able to comprehend laws was already excessive enough.
But he could actually comprehend all of them on a deeper level and directly grasp powerful source powers?
Was this supposed to be a joke?
How could such an abnormal human exist in the Multiverse?
Even those Mutants were not this abnormal.
"Now is not the time to discuss that."
"We still need to reassess matters concerning this kid in the future."
"For now, we should first help them expel the source power inside their bodies."
Facing Nezarr the Calculator, the Commander did not speak harshly.
With a wave of his hand, a Celestial member appeared in front of him.
The trap Karl had designed had directly shattered this Celestial's armor.
His body was wrapped in all kinds of multicolored laws that were constantly ravaging his vitality.
After looking him over, even the Commander felt his scalp go numb.
There were far too many source powers.
Now, even he had to be careful.
As the saying went, pulling one thread would move the whole body.
These source powers were interwoven and tangled with one another.
They had even become entangled with the Celestial's own source essence.
If he moved even one of them, all of them would move together.
It was extremely dangerous.
Even at his peak, he would still have found this somewhat beyond him.
Let alone now, when his strength had already been almost completely exhausted.
The Commander proceeded with extreme caution.
White light appeared in his hand.
He slowly touched the laws on the Celestial's body, wanting to extract them.
"Ah!"
The moment he made contact, that Celestial began howling miserably.
His body convulsed.
The Commander was immediately at a loss.
These source powers were all tangled together.
They were like a ball of threads knotted into a mess. He had no idea where to begin.
"Damn it!"
"Why does this man have so many source powers?"
"He did this on purpose!"
"He wants to leave us unable to move for hundreds of millions of years."
"This kind of power can only be slowly worn away by ourselves."
The Commander's expression darkened.
With just this one move, more than a dozen Celestial members had been crippled.
Those with heavy injuries could not even move.
Even those with lighter injuries probably would not be able to fight for tens of millions of years.
To them, this was simply a fatal blow.
The Commander had never imagined that they would suffer such losses just to deal with one human.
It was not supposed to be like this.
The Commander could not help thinking that inwardly.
However, now was not the time to dwell on such things.
Over the years, they had offended many people across the Multiverse.
Normally, that might not count for much.
Those people would not dare offend them.
But at a time like this, it was extremely, extremely dangerous.
The people they had offended in the past might not kill them.
But humiliating them would be entirely normal.
To them, that would feel worse than death.
"These source powers are far too complex. I am completely unable to expel them."
"It seems we can only return and spend time slowly grinding them away."
The Commander spoke helplessly.
"Then what about that human?"
Nezarr the Calculator asked.
"Right now, we cannot afford to care about him."
"Do you think that in our current state, we can deal with him?"
The Commander asked in return.
He was indeed very powerful.
But now, his strength had been completely exhausted. How was he supposed to deal with that man?
They had underestimated this human.
Now, they had paid an enormous price.
At this point, they could only return.
