There were not many people at the Mutant School, so everything was handled very efficiently.
Professor X also possessed tremendous prestige within the school.
Even Wolverine, the oldest person there, sincerely respected Professor X.
Since Professor X had spoken, the members of the X-Men naturally followed his instructions.
Therefore, the students of the Mutant School were gathered together the following day.
There were only a few dozen students in the entire school.
Most of them were teenagers.
Among them, only a few attracted Karl's attention.
One was Storm, and another was Iceman.
Both were Omega-level mutants who possessed tremendous power.
The only other student worth noting was Rogue.
The abilities of the remaining students were merely ordinary. At Karl's current level, they were not particularly useful to him.
The dozens of students were not the only ones who had gathered.
The members of the X-Men had also come.
Karl was extremely satisfied.
The abilities of the X-Men were far stronger than those of the students.
Should he manage to gain insight into the Phoenix Force as well, he would profit enormously.
Excellent!
Karl was very pleased with the situation.
"All right. Everyone should be here."
"Karl, you may begin."
Professor X nodded toward Karl.
Karl nodded in response.
"Hello, everyone. My name is Karl, and I am a Sorcerer Supreme from another universe."
"Charles invited me here to teach you a few things."
"To avoid unnecessary trouble, I think it would be better to demonstrate my strength first."
Karl spoke with a faint smile.
He could tell that the members of the X-Men had no objections to his presence.
They knew the truth about Jean's treatment and understood how powerful Karl was.
The students, however, were different.
Because of their experiences growing up, most of the Mutant School's students had developed strange, withdrawn, or distrustful personalities.
Even within the school, they only truly trusted a few of their teachers.
How could they possibly accept a complete stranger like Karl without question?
Karl decided it would be better to demonstrate his power first and save himself the trouble later.
Moreover, he could use this opportunity to show them what he intended to teach.
"Would anyone like to help with the demonstration?"
"Let your students see something new."
Karl smiled faintly.
The members of the X-Men exchanged glances.
Logan helplessly stepped forward.
"I'll do it. I'm bored anyway."
Logan spoke with a resigned expression.
Because of his extraordinary healing factor, he was usually the one chosen to serve as the target during demonstrations.
Since someone had to do it now, it might as well be him.
"All right. Come over and give it a try."
Karl did not particularly care who volunteered.
As far as he was concerned, Wolverine was far too weak.
Even Wolverine's supposedly immortal healing ability amounted to very little before Karl.
Karl could easily kill him.
However, this was merely a demonstration, so Karl naturally had no intention of doing that.
"Attack me."
"Let me see your strength."
Karl spoke calmly.
"Are you sure?"
Logan asked hesitantly.
"I'm sure."
"Don't worry. If I can't even stop your attack, I have no right to stand here and teach these students."
Karl smiled.
"All right, then. No offense."
As Logan spoke, three metal claws extended from between the knuckles of each hand.
Without another word, he charged directly at Karl.
However, how could such an attack possibly affect Karl?
To him, it was as harmless as a child's clumsy swing.
Forget Logan's attack.
Even the supposedly indestructible adamantium was nothing remarkable in Karl's eyes.
A faint smile appeared on Karl's face.
He extended one hand and lightly pointed forward.
The surrounding space seemed to freeze.
Logan's charging body instantly stopped.
The veins on his neck bulged as he struggled with all his strength, but he remained completely unable to move.
Anyone could see that Karl was restraining him with extreme ease.
Should Karl decide to do anything else, Logan probably would not possess the slightest ability to resist.
The members of the X-Men drew in sharp breaths.
Logan was not their most powerful combatant, but he was still one of the team's core fighters.
Yet he could not resist at all.
Was Karl truly this monstrously powerful?
It was terrifying.
Seeing the expressions of the X-Men change, Karl merely smiled calmly.
"It seems no one should have any remaining doubts about my abilities."
"This was only the most basic demonstration."
"It showed how psychic power can suppress sentient beings."
"The underlying principle is somewhat similar to Professor Charles's ability."
"However, psychic power is the most fundamental power of the soul. Its applications extend far beyond this."
"If your psychic power becomes sufficiently strong, you will be fully capable of controlling your own abilities."
"You will no longer encounter situations in which your powers escape your control."
Karl patiently explained the principle.
The young mutants at the school looked at one another.
"Is that really possible?"
"Can everyone learn to control their abilities?"
A young girl could not resist asking.
"Of course."
"The only reason you cannot control your abilities is that your soul power is insufficient."
"Why does Professor Charles rarely lose control of his abilities as an adult?"
"It is because his soul power has become strong enough to control his power."
"What I will teach you is how to strengthen your soul through training, allowing you to gradually gain control over your abilities."
Karl explained patiently.
After hearing this, the young mutants immediately became excited.
Most of the children at the Mutant School were probably already capable of controlling their abilities to some degree.
However, several exceptional students possessed powers that exceeded the limits of what they could personally control.
Rogue was the clearest example.
Whenever she came into physical contact with someone, she would absorb that person's abilities, life force, and memories.
This made her extremely dangerous to other people.
It was also extremely dangerous for Rogue herself.
She could not even control her own ability, yet she was forced to bear the powers of other people along with their additional memories.
With her fragile soul, repeatedly absorbing such things could cause her personality to fracture and eventually drive her insane.
Several other mutants suffered from similar problems.
Their souls were too weak to control their own abilities.
Karl intended to teach them a meditation method that would gradually strengthen their souls.
It was a minor technique he had created himself.
By teaching them, Karl would also gain the opportunity to carefully observe their abilities.
He stood to gain enormously from this arrangement.
"Ahem."
"Watch carefully. I'm going to teach you a meditation method."
"As long as you practice it diligently, you will eventually be able to control your abilities."
The moment Karl said this, the eyes of the surrounding mutants lit up with anticipation.
