As soon as Karl finished speaking, the surrounding mutants stared at him with eager anticipation.
Even the eyes of the X-Men were filled with curiosity.
Some members of their group were also incapable of fully controlling their abilities.
The most obvious example was Cyclops.
Whenever he opened his eyes, he released terrifying optic blasts with extraordinary destructive power.
However, he could not freely control this power at all.
He had to rely on special ruby-quartz glasses to use his ability safely.
This was a typical example of someone's psychic power being unable to keep pace with their ability.
Superman had experienced something similar.
When his powers first appeared, he had also been unable to control them.
However, as his strength grew, he gradually learned to control his abilities.
Mutants were completely different from Superman.
Their soul power could not grow quickly enough to match their rapidly increasing abilities.
That was precisely the problem Karl intended to solve.
"The method I'm going to teach you is a special form of meditation."
"By concentrating your psychic power, you will perceive the natural forces within the universe and gradually strengthen yourselves."
"This shouldn't be particularly difficult for any of you."
"Mutants are born with extraordinary gifts, and your psychic power is naturally greater than that of ordinary people."
"The only thing you need to remember is that this meditation method is extremely safe and will not cause any problems, but its effects are also slow."
"Do not lose your patience."
Karl explained patiently.
The surrounding mutants continued staring at him without raising any objections.
"Very good."
"In that case, let's begin."
Karl nodded.
With a wave of his hand, an extremely complicated diagram appeared before him.
It resembled a hollow golden sphere, like a sun radiating golden light.
"What you need to do is concentrate your psychic power."
"Reproduce this pattern inside your minds."
"Then maintain it. You will gradually feel a gentle warmth, which indicates that your psychic power is slowly increasing."
"You must remain completely focused. You cannot make any mistakes, or the method will have no effect."
Karl carefully explained every precaution.
The surrounding members of the X-Men nodded.
"Remember that you must concentrate all of your psychic power."
"Your psychic power is greater than that of ordinary people."
"It should therefore be easier for you to accomplish this."
Karl continued explaining carefully.
All the surrounding mutants, both the children and the X-Men, closed their eyes and slowly attempted to enter meditation.
Before long, the auras of several mutants began to change.
They belonged to several members of the X-Men.
They were adults, so their psychic power was naturally stronger than that of the children.
The exercise was not particularly difficult for them.
As they slowly meditated, their psychic power was nourished and gradually increased.
Different auras also began leaking from their bodies.
Those auras were external manifestations of their abilities.
This was another benefit of the method Karl had provided. It slowly drew out the mutants' powers.
These abilities represented the most fundamental power of their souls.
Karl carefully perceived them.
[Ding!]

[You have mastered the Power of Storms.]
A familiar flood of comprehension appeared within Karl's mind.
He had mastered a strange and wondrous power.
With nothing more than a thought, he could create an enormous storm on the ground in the blink of an eye.
At first glance, the ability seemed similar to Thor's power.
Both could instantly produce tremendous storms.
In reality, however, they were completely different.
Karl's new ability was more closely connected to storms themselves.
It was primarily a power over wind, while lightning was merely an additional effect.
There was no doubt that it was an extraordinarily powerful ability.
A storm created in an instant would be enough to destroy an entire city.
It was not limited to Earth.
Karl could create the same terrifying storm even in outer space.
Its destructive power was tremendous.
He had once again mastered a powerful new ability.
It was an entirely new Law!
Every mutant was truly a treasure trove.
This was especially true of Omega-level mutants. Every one of them possessed monstrously powerful abilities.
Karl felt slightly disappointed that he had not managed to comprehend Jean Grey's Phoenix Force.
He immediately realized that he was being too greedy.
Jean was still far too weak.
She was nowhere near capable of controlling such a terrifying power.
Should the Phoenix Force truly erupt, she would instantly lose control.
Karl decided that it would be better to wait and see whether another opportunity appeared in the future.
Should Jean lose control now, Karl himself would also suffer the consequences.
Karl continued waiting patiently.
Before long, all the mutants had entered that profound meditative state together.
The meditation technique he had created was simple enough for even ordinary people to master easily.
Mutants naturally possessed far greater psychic power than ordinary people, so mastering the method was even easier for them.
The surrounding area became filled with numerous different auras.
However, Karl was the only person capable of clearly perceiving them.

[You have mastered the Origin of Devouring and the Origin of Ice.]
Karl felt his mind swell slightly.
An enormous amount of knowledge flooded into his consciousness.
He had mastered two new Origins once again.
The Origin of Devouring and the Origin of Ice.
Based on his estimation, they had come from Rogue and Iceman.
Both were extraordinarily terrifying powers.
There was little need to explain the Origin of Devouring. Devouring was inherently an extremely powerful ability.
The Origin of Ice was equally terrifying.
At its pinnacle, it could even freeze time itself.
Iceman was one of the few Omega-level mutants at the Mutant School.
His power was extraordinarily formidable.
Naturally, this ability was also extremely useful to Karl.
With Karl's current strength, he could instantly freeze the entire Earth.
How terrifying was that?
Karl became extremely excited.
He had achieved such tremendous progress after visiting only one relatively small Mutant School.
What would happen when he encountered other powerful individuals?
Wouldn't he be able to master even more formidable powers?
Karl felt that his decision to visit the Main Universe had been extraordinarily wise.
Once he felt that enough time had passed, Karl cleared his throat.
His psychic power released a pulse, awakening every mutant from meditation.
When they opened their eyes, all the mutants were flushed from head to toe.
"There's no need to look so surprised."
"Generally speaking, the first training session produces the greatest effect."
"However, you can continue making steady progress over time."
"As long as you remain patient, you can raise your psychic power to a sufficiently high level."
"Now I'll explain several things you must remember."
Karl spoke calmly.
The mutants widened their eyes and listened attentively.
"Training psychic power can be extremely dangerous."
"Therefore, while training, you must never become impatient or agitated."
Karl's voice slowly echoed through the area.
