"Beeep, beeep, beeep!!! The winged ones are coming!! "
After a moment, Miyuru heard the system alarm, which she had forgotten existed for a moment, and she almost choked on her drink with such shock.
It's no wonder she suddenly stood up, grabbing her shake.
That's because she'd received information that the winged ones were approaching her, and that wasn't in her best interest at that moment.
"They're coming! Pretend you didn't see me!," Miyuru squealed after a moment, hastily explaining her strange behavior.
Aini wanted to say something, but she couldn't, let alone Hairi herself.
They were staring at her as if she'd fallen off a Christmas tree.
The girl, however, paid no attention to their reactions.
That was because she quickly moved away from where she had been moments ago.
She couldn't let them catch her; she wasn't ready enough to confront them, Miyuru was one hundred percent sure of that.
"Now just use magic teleportation and get out of this place...," Miyuru muttered under her breath, then used the appropriate spell.
A bright light appeared before her, and then the magic circle, wasting no time, she jumped into it.
She had no idea where it would take her, but she hoped she could escape them.
She was fully aware of how childish she was now acting, but there was no turning back.
She only silently hoped her friends wouldn't betray her, because then she wouldn't have anything to laugh at.
Meanwhile, Luminous and Nefaris were once again trying to track down their beloved Miyuru, who had been acting strangely towards them for over two weeks.
They didn't quite understand her sudden change in behavior and the fact that she had begun treating them like enemies.
They couldn't recall if they had done anything inappropriate to her.
They feared she was simply dissatisfied with their existence and wanted someone else in their place.
Unfortunately, until now, these had only been speculations, and they knew they couldn't keep this up much longer.
They had to find her as soon as possible, because their very existence was at stake.
And they didn't want to lose it for such a strange reason.
"Are you sure this is a good lead?," Luminous asked after a moment, not quite trusting his companion's abilities.
"I'm one hundred percent sure this is a good lead!," Nefaris replied after a moment, in response to his companion's question.
Normally, they would have jumped at each other's throats long ago, but as we know, they couldn't do that now.
Whether they wanted to or not, they were stuck with each other.
Shortly after those words, they saw two familiar figures.
And they were the best friends of their dearest Miyuru.
Perhaps they would know where she was currently.
Although they weren't entirely sure if they could know anything about that either.
Either way, if they didn't try, they'd never find out.
Just when Hairi and Aini thought it was over, they saw two familiar figures.
Figures they absolutely didn't want to see at the moment.
But there was nothing they could do about it, and all they had to do was get through it.
Their hearts were pounding faster with each passing moment, and they wanted to run away.
They glanced at each other, then at those approaching them.
They knew they would be forced to answer their questions.
Which wasn't as easy as they initially thought.
With hearts in their mouths, they watched as they reached them and stopped right in front of them.
"Sorry to bother you like this, but we have a little question for you," Luminous addressed them, tucking a stray strand of hair behind his ear as he spoke.
"Miyuru, what's going on?," Hairi asked after a moment, slightly confused by her friend's strange behavior.
"How can we help you gentlemen?," Hairi asked casually, trying to sound as natural as possible, immediately signaling to Aini to keep quiet for now.
No matter how afraid they were, they still didn't have much to hide.
That's because they honestly had no idea where Miyuru had actually gone.
Luminous and Nefaris looked at Hairi Fujinushi, disbelieving their ears.
Something inside them told them something was wrong, but they didn't have time to dwell on it now.
