She stared into the mirror.
She realized the flower was the same one she had seen in her sea of consciousness.
It finally dawned on her, and she spoke. "This is my Spirit Root?"
"But why is it growing out of the top of my head?" she said, pointing to the flower on her head. She turned to Javier Sinclair to ask, "What's going on? Have you ever seen anything like this?"
In all her time in this world, she had never heard of anyone's Spirit Root growing out of their head. The fact that she could reach up and touch it was just ridiculous!
Javier Sinclair's gaze shifted to the top of her head.
"I haven't. It might be some kind of Mutated Spirit Root."
His eyes swept over her as he reminded her, "You've completed Energy Introduction. You're in the Qi Refinement Realm now."
As soon as he finished speaking,
Celeste Grant froze.
"Ah… Me?"
Her eyes widened in delayed realization.
