Back at the hospital, Faye's injuries were properly treated.
She lay listlessly on the hospital bed, using her phone to send a voice message to Wyatt Hawthorne. "Have you treated your wounds? Be careful what you eat for the next few days. Avoid inflammatory foods like shrimp and crab."
Finn Hawthorne was sitting by her hospital bed.
Hearing the concern in her voice message, he couldn't help but scoff mockingly. "You can send a hundred messages, it won't make a difference. My older brother won't reply to you."
Faye clutched her phone and waited for a moment.
Just as Finn had said, there was no response.
She let out a mournful sigh and silently placed her phone by her pillow.
"With Vivian around, my older brother doesn't need a placebo like you anymore."
Finn clearly delighted in rubbing salt in her wound. He gloated, "You were just a distraction for my older brother whenever he was bored and lonely."
Faye continued to ignore him.
