A slight smile touched Faye Vaughn's lips.
She was playing the victim.
Why else would he have called her?
"Mr. Hawthorne, if I ask to borrow two bodyguards from you, will there be a price to pay?"
Faye Vaughn asked.
Wyatt Hawthorne was in the middle of handling company documents. He paused and replied nonchalantly, "It's just two bodyguards. I'll have Special Assistant Shaw arrange it."
"Thank you, Mr. Hawthorne."
Faye Vaughn thanked him politely.
Wyatt Hawthorne didn't respond further and hung up.
Special Assistant Shaw was highly efficient; he arranged for two female bodyguards to come over that very night.
This way, the two bodyguards would witness everyone Faye Vaughn met and everything she did.
To make more money as quickly as possible, Faye Vaughn asked her agent, Talia Kensington, to book her more commercial jobs.
She worked diligently on set, sacrificing sleep to take on a few small commercial shoots.
