KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK. Even though the door was open, Uncle Zhang still knocked before coming in.
"Little Ying, are you eating?"
"Uncle Zhang, is something wrong?" Wen Ying asked, looking up at him while chewing on a pork rib. She was a dedicated psychologist. 'No consultations after hours, and that definitely includes mealtime!'
Uncle Zhang gave an awkward laugh and pulled the Copper Coin from his pocket. He looked at Wen Ying, a little embarrassed. "This Copper Coin might not be worth much, but it's an old piece. Little Ying, would you be willing to take it?"
As he spoke, Uncle Zhang placed the Copper Coin on a nearby table.
Wen Ying glanced at it casually, but her eyes immediately lit up. "Is this about your son, Uncle Zhang? I'll take this Copper Coin. I love it!"
Hearing that Wen Ying would take it, Uncle Zhang finally felt a sense of relief. But then she continued, "But if you give me this Copper Coin, what will you do if the old man comes looking to settle scores with you?"
