[CAIUS POV]
Iris was covered in blood.
It had splattered on her face, her hands, and dyed her clothes a rust red that looked ominous in the rising sun. The sight was as gruesome as it was entrancing, and I found myself drawn to it even as my stomach churned in revulsion. It was as though I was staring at a trainwreck, but the train was my half-sister, my fated mate, the one person I would have never expected to pull off such a feat.
Her blue eyes were shining brightly with poise, as though she relished in the destruction she wrought.
There was a strange throbbing in my loins. Atlas was practically prancing with delight.
'I told you Iris was capable,' Atlas cheered, sounding like he was ready to break out into song. 'She showed Martin who was boss! She will be a capable Luna for you!'
