"Iris's medical reports would beg to differ. Her blood test results were similar to Martin's own, with dangerous amounts of silver and wolfsbane in their system," Healer Felix said, pulling out two sheets of reports for Caius to examine.
From where I sat, I could see how he clearly highlighted the similarities.
"If Iris hadn't somehow survived with the Moon Goddesses' blessing at Moonveil Lake and agreed to donate her blood to Martin, he would not have survived the morning," Healer Felix added viciously, as though he was twisting the knife. "Truth be told, it was a long shot to begin with. Even I had no idea that this treatment would be successful, but I guessed the Moon Goddess herself wanted justice."
