After the participants in the third match returned to the facility, the injured were treated, while those who were not hurt—like Luna and Kuro—took a rest. All the important members of the Moon Division gathered together in their private garden, talking with Luna and Yuna.
Merrick: "Was the match difficult or not?"
Luna: "For me, it wasn't. I didn't even use all my strength."
Yuna: "But I did. I fought David and he's very strong, so I used most of my energy against him."
Chris: "I think if Luna had continued fighting Kuro instead of Hinami, the result might have been different."
Jayden: "What do you mean?"
"Kuro's power is close to Luna's. If they had kept fighting, Luna might have gotten exhausted, just like Yuna did against David."
Tristan: "I get it. If that happened, the twins wouldn't have been at full strength and that would've affected the match. But Hinami and Shiro's interference saved the situation."
Luna: "Can you stop with these silly 'what ifs'? I'm too tired to listen to them."
Salvador: "I thought you said it wasn't hard for you, so why are you complaining?"
"I changed my mind. I am tired."
Just then, Aiden appeared suddenly.
Aiden: "Hello, everyone."
Everyone stood up to greet him. He went straight to the twins.
Aiden: "How was the match?"
Luna: "Hard for Yuna but not for me."
"Good. What matters is that you won the victory for us. Well done, girls."
Yuna: "Thank you."
Meanwhile, in the National Division's building, David was lying in bed while the others gathered around with Kuro, trying to comfort him. He was upset about their loss.
Sam: "Don't worry, Kuro. You did your best."
Kuro: "Sure but what bothers me is that I didn't plan things properly. If we had focused more on placing the cage at the starting point, none of this would've happened."
Siran: "Come on, it wasn't your fault. During battle, it's not easy to think clearly."
Hal: "And don't forget your opponents were the Ribwan twins. They're very powerful, not normal fighters."
The group fell silent for a few seconds. Then Hal continued:
"Anyway, let's wait for tomorrow and see the results."
Sam: "The results are obvious. The Moon Division will win."
"I know that. But what about the points?"
"What do you mean?"
"Points also matter in this competition. Why else would they keep track of them? I think the division with more points might gain extra privileges."
Kuro: "You mean even if we become followers of the Moon Division, they might still give us some rights?"
"Exactly."
"If that's true, then we must use those privileges in a way that benefits us."
"Of course."
Yossan, sitting near David's bed, explained to him what had happened. David, angry, said :
" Damn it. That girl Yuna mocked me and she's the reason we lost."
Yossan: "Don't think about the past. Focus on the future and how we'll solve this."
"Do you have a plan?"
"Yes. I had a backup plan in case we lost and it looks like we'll need to use it now."
When the points were revealed, the Moon Division had 100, while the National and Fighter Divisions each had 75. This gave a total of 275 for the Moon Division and 225 for the others. The heroes were overjoyed, but their enemies were not.
That night, Klaus sat in his office, eating dinner and drinking milk—he always drank milk before bed. He spent the evening with the other planners, studying the situation and discussing the future.
According to their studies, the Moon Division would take responsibility for the two golden cubes. Aiden could not fill them alone; either Murphy or Yossan would have to help. They would have to decide, either by drawing lots or making an agreement.
There was also the matter of the Ribwan twins. Both Murphy and Yossan claimed the girls had strange energy and hiding it was considered cheating. Matches were supposed to be fair.
Klaus read this in the documents on his desk when Yosaku entered, holding a cup of tea.
Yosaku: "Still drowning in those papers?"
Klaus: "I feel like I'm literally sinking in this nonsense."
"Do you call something that could decide the fate of our people nonsense?"
"That's not what I meant."
Klaus stood up, then sighed.
"I wanted to fix things, but it seems I've only made them worse."
Yosaku: "Do you really think things wouldn't have been worse if you hadn't intervened?"
Klaus stayed silent. Yosaku went on:
"You're trying your best, honestly. Keep working on your fixes. Don't stop, or you'll regret it later."
Klaus: "You're right. Thank you, wise man."
Yosaku nudged Klaus lightly and both laughed. The night passed peacefully—at least for them. The heroes and their enemies, however, lay awake, anxious for tomorrow's decisions.
Aiden received a call from Klaus, who greeted him cheerfully:
"Good morning, world. Sorry to bother you but I need you to come to the address I'll send in a text. Be there at five and don't tell your followers about this meeting."
"Alright," Aiden replied.
Klaus hung up and Aiden got up, dressed, ate something and headed to the address . There, he found Yossan and Murphy waiting. They stared at him with sharp looks and he returned the same glare.
Soon, Klaus and Yosako arrived, greeting everyone. The others replied politely.
Then Klaus spoke:
"I know you're wondering why I called you here and I'll explain. Your complaint has been rejected. Accusing the Ribwan twins of cheating because they have strange energy doesn't make sense."
Murphy frowned.
"How is that nonsense? Those girls have two weapons, two elements and the Tominako Reed energy—the strongest heir of the wonder stones !"
Yosako answered calmly:
"By your logic, weapons and elements must always be ordinary. But Kuro has the Binding Power, and David holds the Power of Disorder. Aren't those unusual as well? Why didn't you call that cheating?"
Murphy fell silent and Yosako continued:
"The Ribwan twins' energy is unique, yes but it is part of who they are. That's not cheating. I need you both, Yossan and Murphy, to accept this."
Murphy muttered, "Fine."
Yossan nodded, "Of course, we will."
Klaus went on:
"Now, about the two golden cubes. Aiden cannot fill them alone. One of you must help him."
Murphy protested immediately, pointing at Aiden.
"Why should I help this idiot? He used to be my enemy!"
Aiden replied coldly, "And I don't want your help either, genius."
The two glared at each other until Klaus cut in sharply:
"I think you misunderstood."
Murphy narrowed his eyes.
"What do you mean?"
"This isn't a request, Murphy Wong and Yossan Endar. It's an order."
Yossan asked, "You mean you'll force us to help Lillian Aiden?"
"Of course—if necessary," Klaus said firmly.
"No one forces me into anything," Murphy snapped. "I'd go to war over this."
Yossako raised a brow.
"So you'd attack us and your followers would join you, bringing chaos here and now?"
"I didn't want this," Murphy admitted, "but like you, I'll do what's necessary."
The room fell into tense silence. Yossan covered his face in frustration at Murphy's recklessness. Klaus broke the silence:
"Let's suppose you and Yosan attacked us. Do you think the Moon Division and our followers would just sit still?"
Murphy hesitated.
"I don't know."
"They'd fight back," Klaus said flatly. "And the battle would end in a draw. You and Yosan would lose your special powers and be left powerless."
Murphy scowled. "We won't know until—"
Yossan suddenly shoved him, cutting him off.
"Stop it! That's the dumbest thing a leader could say."
Murphy fell silent and Yossan continued:
"I'll help Aiden. Problem solved, right?"
"Yes," Yosako confirmed.
He added with a sigh, "Please excuse Wong. He's bitter toward Lillian Aiden and that clouds his judgment."
"That's obvious," Klaus agreed. "But he'd better not repeat it. Now, sign these documents."
Yosako handed papers to Yossan, Murphy and Aiden. After reading, they all signed then went their separate ways.
As Yossan and Murphy walked together, Yossan scolded him:
"What you did was unworthy of a leader. You overreacted."
"I don't understand how you stayed calm," Murphy shot back. "Klaus and Yosako are clearly biased toward Aiden. Don't you see it?"
"I do," Yossan admitted. "They told him about the tournament first and not us—the ones with the cubes. And they didn't call his use of Reed's legacy cheating. That's clear favoritism."
"Damn them," Murphy growled.
Meanwhile, Aiden returned to the Moon Division's building and told his followers about the meeting. Chris asked,
"So now the responsibility for the golden cubes lies with you and Yossan?"
Aiden corrected him:
"With me alone. Yosan will only act as my assistant, as written in the documents."
Sony asked, "Aren't you worried Yossan might cause trouble for you, Leader Aiden?"
"He doesn't scare me. We're about equal in strength. But I'll take precautions. For now, let's rest and enjoy our victory."
Everyone smiled at his words and celebrated the win they had worked so hard for.
The old Kaos headquarters was restored to them, which delighted everyone—especially the Ribwan twins, Merrick, Sony, Clara and Salvador, who had spent the most time there.
Not only that but their loved ones were finally safe, no longer under threat as before. As for the Fighter Division, they now served under Aiden. Most were glad about this—though not all, since Murphy often lashed out and punished his men over trivial matters.
The National Division was split: half remained loyal to Yossan, while the other half chose to work willingly with Aiden, believing he could lead them to their homeland, Kinai and grant them what they desired.
A week passed since the tournament ended. Preparations were underway for rule under Aiden's command. During that week, Luna and Yuna returned home to their family, taking a break from the chaos that had swept them up.
Tristan and Jaiden were freely wandering around the city, as they had missed doing this, especially after everything that had happened recently.
The two of them went to a fast-food restaurant, and while they were waiting for their order, they suddenly sensed the energy of a Wonder Stone.
It was Florence, who was talking to the restaurant owner. He seemed to know the man, but neither Tristan nor Jaiden knew him. Florence did not pay any attention to them and simply continued on his way.
Jaiden turned to Tristan and said,
"That person who was talking to the restaurant owner is a Wonder Stone heir. Did you sense it?"
"Yes. I'm sure he sensed our powers too, but he didn't seem to care."
"I want us to follow him."
"Hey, what are you talking about? We came here to hang out and relax, not to chase Wonder Stone heirs."
"Fine. I'll go after him alone. I'm dying to know who he is."
"Damn you."
Jaiden went ahead, and Tristan followed him. The two of them watched where Florence was going.
He entered a large pharmacy filled with different kinds of medicine.
The two of them stood outside the entrance.
Tristan said,
"That's strange. What would make that Wonder Stone heir come to a pharmacy?"
"I told you there was something suspicious about him. If he were an ordinary Wonder Stone heir, he would have tried to talk to us since he sensed our powers too. But he didn't, which means he's not some inexperienced heir or anything like that."
"Maybe. But what are you planning to do if you meet him? Are you going to ask him to join the Moon Division?"
"Yes. I'd also like to train with him. You know I like developing my strength."
"You don't know if—"
Tristan was interrupted by a familiar voice.
"Jaiden, Tristan, what are you doing here?"
The two turned toward the source of the voice and found Yuna holding a shopping bag in her hands.
Jaiden replied,
"Yuna? You're here?"
"Yes. I went to buy some sweets for Luna and me. She's waiting for me inside the pharmacy."
"Is Luna here too?" Tristan asked.
"Yes. But you still haven't answered me. What are you two doing here?"
"It's a long story. In short, Jaiden is chasing a Wonder Stone heir so he can recruit him into the Moon Division, even though we don't actually need him. The real reason is that he wants to show off his strength."
Jaiden : "Hey, shut up!"
Jaiden tried to hit Tristan, but Tristan dodged his attack and laughed. He had embarrassed Jaiden, whose face turned slightly red from embarrassment after Yuna heard what Tristan had said.
Yuna smiled and replied,
"There's nothing wrong with trying to increase your strength, but you don't need to do that right now. The danger is gone, so you should rest for a while."
Jaiden : "You're right."
Florence and Luna then came out of the pharmacy, causing everyone to turn toward them.
Luna immediately walked toward Yuna and said angrily,
"You idiot! Where have you been all this time? I've been waiting for you forever, but you never showed up!"
"Shut up. I had a hard time finding our favorite kind of sweets, but I finally found them, so stop complaining."
While Luna and Yuna were arguing, Florence turned to Tristan and Jaiden and said,
"I assume you two know Luna and Yuna, right?"
Jaiden : "Yes. And you do too. You came out with Luna."
"Yes. I've known them for a very long time. My name is Florence. What are your names?"
"I'm Jaiden."
Tristan : "And I'm Tristan."
Florence : "Nice to meet you both."
"Excuse me, Mr. Florence, but how are you related to them? And what are you doing here at the pharmacy?"
"I'm not related to them, but they are close acquaintances of mine. As for what we're doing here, we came to buy some medicine."
"Medicine for what?"
Luna joined the conversation and answered,
"Medicine for hemophilia. We've had it since we were children, so we always have to take our medication."
Tristan and Jaiden were shocked by Luna's answer, and both immediately apologized.
Tristan : "I'm sorry. We didn't mean to pry into your personal lives."
Jaiden : "Please forgive us. We didn't mean to interfere in your affairs."
Luna : "Hey, why are you two acting like you committed a crime?"
Yuna : "Exactly. Everyone is susceptible to illness, so there's no need to apologize."
Jaiden : "I'm glad to hear you say that."
Tristan : "Me too."
Yuna : "Good."
Florence looked at the situation and commented,
"I can tell that you two, Jaiden and Tristan, are good men. So please take care of Luna and Yuna."
Jaiden : "Yes, we will."
Tristan : "Of course we will."
Florence : "Wonderful. Now, I'll be leaving. I have some things to take care of. Goodbye."
Florence left after saying goodbye to the twins, Jaiden and Tristan.
They continued walking along the same road together for a while before eventually parting ways. Luna and Yuna headed home, while Tristan and Jaiden continued wandering around the city.
