Seeing that Laura didn't seem to want to respond and looked away from Andreas, Andreas took a step back. No, he didn't want Laura to reject him.
Andreas snorted in displeasure. "Do you now consider me a stranger, Laura? Fine, I won't mark you right now. But I won't let you go just like that. And one thing you should know, you won't be able to escape my watchful eye."
"You must be lying!"

Andreas then sat down on a sofa in his room. His gaze was fixed on Laura, who was confused. Suddenly, he heard Laura's stomach growl. Hearing that, Andreas almost smiled if only he could control his facial expression. Meanwhile, Laura cursed her stomach for not knowing the situation, her cheeks even turning red with embarrassment.
Andreas then called a waiter. Shortly after, the waiter arrived. Andreas asked the waiter to bring them some food. The waiter nodded and left the room.
"What are you doing there? Sit down," said Andreas.
"I want to go home, Alpha," said Laura firmly.
Andreas snorted at Laura's statement. "I didn't expect that woman who likes fishing to have become a Middle Class witch," he said, changing the subject.
Soon after, several waiters entered their room and placed various foods on the table.
"Sit down, I'm giving it to you for free," said Andreas.
Seeing Laura standing motionless in front of him, Andreas shook his head. But soon after, Laura sat down next to Andreas.
They both ate quietly. Deep down, Andreas hoped that Laura would return to her sweet ways and feed him like they did when they were children. Weren't they still lovers? While they were eating, suddenly there was a knock on the door. Then a woman's voice greeted them both.
"Alpha, it's me, Audrey. Are you in there? Yuhuu."
Laura stopped what she was doing. She immediately put the small bowl on the table. What was a woman doing in front of Alpha's room? It was very surprising.
"Alpha... It's me, Audrey. I'm back from my vacation. Yeah, if you can call it a vacation. Can you hear me?" The knocking grew louder.
Seeing the look of concern on Laura's face, a crazy idea crossed Andreas' mind. He then stood up and opened the door.
The moment Andreas opened the door, Audrey immediately kissed both of Andreas' cheeks and hugged him like someone who had just met after a long separation. "Alpha, I'm so glad you're finally back. Are you hurt? Or did you get attacked by the Vampires? Huh, that race really disgusts me," Audrey said chatteringly, placing her hands in front of her chest with a displeased expression. Suddenly, the 23-year-old woman's gaze turned to Laura. Laura, who was being stared at like that, looked away. At that moment, they looked like people who had been caught after doing something wrong.
"Who is this woman who dares to enter your room, Alpha?" Audrey stared at Laura in disbelief and demanded an answer from Andreas.
"She's my mate," Andreas replied.
"Your mate? Oh my God, you must be lying, Alpha! I will never be replaced, even if she is your mate." Audrey looked at Laura with a disapproving gaze.
"I've found my mate, Audrey. I hope you meet yours soon too." Andreas said sincerely.
Audrey covered her mouth, her eyes glistening. She couldn't accept this reality. How could she let go of the person she loved, even if they weren't meant to be? Audrey didn't even care about her mate bond. If she couldn't have Alpha Andreas, then no one else could have him either.
"But, Alpha. You promised to protect me in front of Alpha Daniel," said Audrey. She wiped her tears.
Seeing this, Andreas felt guilty. "You're right, I won't be able to protect you anymore. But you can get protection from your mate in the future."
Audrey bit her lip, trying to hold back the words she desperately wanted to say at that moment.
"Alpha, tell me, is your mate a werewolf?"
Andreas paused for a moment, then said, "Laura comes from a family of witches. Even so, she is your future Luna."
Audrey clenched her fists tightly. Witches, huh? Audrey thought, unable to accept it. Could... could Alpha Andreas reject his mate and fall back in love with her? Audrey really didn't want to lose Andreas.

Andreas immediately closed his bedroom door.

"Just reject me now, Alpha," Laura said. She couldn't continue to stay in Andreas' pack. Staying with him for too long would only make her suffer more.
"Why?" For the first time, Andreas wanted to know the reason behind her words. Every word of rejection uttered by his mate felt suffocating.
"Because I am already a part of King Erick. I have given my blood for his resurrection.
Andreas curled the corners of his lips upon hearing Laura's answer. "Then, does that mean you will become his wife in the future after the ritual process?"
Seeing no response, Andreas smiled cynically. "In that case, there is no reason for me to let you go. You... are mine alone, Laura." Without responding to Laura, who looked unacceptable. Andreas approached Laura. He then grabbed Laura's slender waist. While his other hand held Laura's face away.
Andreas said softly, "I won't let you go, Laura."
The next moment, Laura let out a small scream as Andreas sank his fangs into her neck. Slowly, a burning sensation spread around the wound caused by Andreas' bite. What Andreas was doing was a marking bite, a way of claiming and binding Laura as his mate.
Andreas pulled his face away from Laura's, looking satisfied with the result of his work. Now Laura was his, and no one would ever be able to break their bond.
There was blood on the corner of Andreas's mouth, and he quickly wiped it with his thumb and put it in his mouth. Andreas then gently stroked Laura's head.
"Alpha, you will suffer the consequences. You can't do that to me!" Laura was angry, yes, because they were not supposed to be together. With Andreas claiming her, she would become a werewolf forever. What should Laura do?
"I have no other choice. Laura, I have prepared a servant for you. Starting today, you are officially my Luna. And tomorrow I will declare to all my people that they have a new Luna. You should rest."
Laura's gaze was sharp, even though her neck still felt sore. "I will make sure that you cannot have me completely, Alpha. I... will leave you," said Laura. Her breath caught. She felt like crying right then and there.
Andreas grinned slyly. "Go wherever you like, Laura. I will make sure that, in the end, you will only return to my arms," Andreas said calmly.
After saying that, Andreas headed for the door of his room, where Laura was locked out. He left Laura alone. But it seemed that Andreas had forgotten that Laura was a witch. Just like their encounter on the battlefield, Laura cast a spell until a thick fog appeared around her. She then disappeared from the room.
But something strange happened. Shortly after, Laura returned to the room with an expression of disbelief on her face.
She couldn't get out of the room.
