Chapter 7 - CHAPTER-07: THE TWIN STARS AND THE CELESTIAL FORGE

The sky was still bleeding violet smoke when Knowledge floated toward the rift. He didn't use a sword; he used his staff like a needle.

"Behold the Sutures of Chronos!" he cried. Bronze gears the size of cities emerged from his sleeves, interlocking across the tear in reality. With a sound like a thousand grandfather clocks striking at once, the gears turned, pulling the edges of the universe back together.

"Thy door is bolted, Lord Kuro," Knowledge whispered, his monocle cracking from the strain. "For now."

A snap of Mother Nature's fingers later, the group was teleported to the Jade Groves. It wasn't a hospital; it was a valley of giant, glowing mushrooms and waterfalls that smelled like rain and fresh cookies.

Mother Nature forced Kanetaro and Kaito into a "Restorative Sap Bath." They were both stuck up to their necks in sticky, neon-pink goo.

Kanetaro: "Is it supposed to smell like bubblegum? Because I feel like a giant piece of chewed taffy. Spiderman never had to deal with aggressive aromatherapy."

Kaito: "Quiet, peasant! This goo is... actually quite soothing for my magnificent deltoids."

Riya was walking around with a giant leaf, smacking anyone who tried to stand up too early.

Daniel: (Trying to clean his gun) "Ma'am, I'm just polishing my—"

Riya: (WHACK) "Sit. Heal. Or I will turn your 'thunder-sticks' into actual sticks!"

Kanetaro: "I think I'm in love. Or terrified. Is it possible to be both? Terri-loved?"

As the sun set, Knowledge sat the two "clones" down. The air grew heavy.

"Kanetaro," Knowledge began, his voice losing its riddle-like edge. "Dost thou remember the forest where thou wert found? And Kaito, dost thou remember the Solar Throne where thou wert raised?"

He projected a vision into the campfire smoke. It showed a mother in a war-torn village, holding two infants. One was still, cold—born without a breath. The other was screaming with life.

"Kaito, thou wert the twin who died," Knowledge revealed. "The Sun God of old saw thy potential and snatched thy soul from the veil, raising thee in the heavens to be his perfect weapon. Kanetaro, thou wert the brother left to wander the mud."

The Shift: Kaito didn't scream. He looked at his hands, his ego deflating into something more human. He looked at Kanetaro—not as a rival, but as the life he was supposed to have.

"So," Kaito muttered, his voice shaking. "I'm not a God. I'm a ghost in golden armor."

Kanetaro reached out, patting Kaito's shoulder. "Hey, look on the bright side. Being a ghost means you don't have to pay taxes. And you're still the second most handsome guy here."

Later that night, looking at the scarred sky, Kanetaro felt the weight of his Sky-Katana. For chapters, he had tried to run. He had tried to be "just an orphan."

"I can't do the 'reluctant' thing anymore," Kanetaro said to the group. "If there are eight more of those Malphas guys... if they touch this grove, or Riya, or even Knowledge's annoying gears... I'm not just playing hero. I'm the Sky God. And the Sky doesn't move for anyone."

He stood up, holding his hand out. One by one, Daniel, Riya, and a much humbler (but still slightly arrogant) Kaito joined him. The Team was born.

Knowledge and Mother Nature led them to the Celestial Forge—a place where clockwork met organic roots.

Kanetaro now wields the Storm-Bringer Katana, a blade alive with crackling white lightning that hums with the fury of the skies themselves. Encasing him is the Sky-Wraith Armor, weightless plates of midnight-blue metal that allow him to glitch through the air, vanishing and reappearing in short bursts of teleportation like a living storm. Riya's Thorned Rose Urmi has evolved into a whip-sword forged from indestructible celestial vines, capable of growing or shrinking at her command, while her awakened ability, Nature's Pulse, lets her hear the heartbeat of the world itself, sensing enemies from miles away through the rhythm of the land. Kaito stands radiant with the Solar Flare Spear, its twin tips burning with the heat of a collapsing star, complemented by the Aegis of the Morning, a golden cape that can harden in an instant, reflecting projectiles with blinding brilliance. Daniel's arsenal has reached its apex with the Eclipse Revolvers, weapons that draw endless power from the Moon and never require reloading, and the Void Claw, his golden gauntlet now infused with Void-Matter, granting him the terrifying ability to seize, crush, and erase shadows themselves.

The group is healed, the truth is out, and the weapons are hot from the forge. But the "Eight Fingers" are still out there.
